I have a substantial graveyard of natural deodorants. I have tried every single brand I've come across over the last 5 years. Some caused irritation, rashes, skin discoloration, and ultimately ended up only working briefly. I have the stained clothes as well. Some never worked at all and I couldn't stand my own smell. From time-to-time, I would go back to the unhealthy brands in the most desperate of times (110 for 3 months?) and I have to say, Routine has solved every issue I've ever had. It's soothing to the skin and I shave daily and apply right after I shower. The baking soda formula hasn't caused any issues for me and it doesn't leave my clothes stained. It truly holds up to the toughest of workouts, working in the garage during a summer day, etc. The scent is mild but smells lovely. If you're hesitant because of the price, that's understandable, but this truly is the best I've ever used. This just came across my feed and I thought I’d update. As I mentioned, I’ve used every natural brand possible. If one worked, it was only for a brief time. I originally wrote this review and year and a half ago. To this day, I still use this deodorant. I never smell, I never have to reapply to make through the day. Even after sweaty workouts with no AC in the Texas heat has stopped this from working. I hope they never change the formulation or sell out. This truly is the best purchase I’ve made. I now have it on autoship. The price may make you hesitant but one jar lasts me three months so that equals out to a nasty stick of secret. The company also sells samples if you’re worried about wasting the money. Definitely give this a try!!

This is the best natural deodorant I have ever used (and I have tried quite a variety). I love how many different scent options there are and it works! I only need to apply once a day and whether it contains baking soda or not, I have had no skin irritation from any Routine deodorant. Is it expensive? Yes. I don't love paying $20+ for deodorant, but it does last a long time (if you use a small amount as instructed), and I am willing to pay a little more for something that isn't loaded with toxic ingredients and metals but that still works.

Out of all the natural deodorants I have tried, this one works great! The scent is barely noticeable, and I have a sensitive nose. Use sparingly, don't glob it on, or it will logically get clumpy. It didn't burn or cause skin issues. I have used it at work, at school, and during intense gym workouts, and it is superior even to non-natural, name-brand antiperspirants and deodorants. There has never been any staining on my clothing, and I wear many different fabrics. Please remember that it takes your body time to adjust to using any natural product (sometimes a month+). I guess I've read (no idea if it is true) that your skin detoxes, so it smells weird at first, then gets better, and it is great when it does. It took a month for me to adjust, thank goodness I'm stubborn. Reapply on clean skin when needed. Deodorants never replace proper personal hygiene, and water is always your friend. My whole family is using this product because it is so good. Oh, and Routine also has soaps and other products that work great too! ♥

Love Routine! Blackberry Betty is one of my absolute favorite scents (I also use Sweet Jane). I’ve tried so many deodorants over the years — Lume, Native, pH-balanced ones — and I’d still start to smell halfway through the day. Routine is the first one that actually works for me and keeps me fresh all day. You do need to reapply daily (it’s not one of those that lasts for days), but I don’t mind at all. A little goes a long way — one jar lasts me about 5–6 months just using it for underarms. It’s become my everyday go-to!

I don't leave reviews but this stuff really works. I was desperate to find something natural or not to help with the sweat and smell of the underarms. I've tried so many over the last 18 months, but none helped. I have had a change in hormones or something, and this stuff has completely alleviated any stench or sweat. I am sold for life. And it is a bonus that it is natural. Try this stuff- it works!
