What is the size of these? The description says 1 inch (either diameter or height, I'm not sure), but a pic shows a woman with a much bigger one.

The diameter is 1” so the height is half of that. I put them on the bottom of a heavy stone cutting board and they compressed to about 1/4”

can I put these under a 2.5'x5' table 24" high to keep it from moving around the room? I have 8 tables in an elementary classroom. must prevent movin

Probably not your best solution. These are intended more for isolating electronic equipment. They are small, soft, gel-like domes that adhere with a sticky backing. If you were to put them under a piece of furniture, they'd likely get ripped off if moved. I think you'd be better off with a rubber base that screwed on permanently.

Are they pefrect hemispheres? Mine was delivered a bit squished from the top like something heavy was sitting on them in transit.

No they are suppose to be round at the top. Mine was. Send it back now and have them refund you and purchase it again.
