I can only tell you what it says on the label. Ingredients: Bone Meal Powder enriched with Calcium Carbonate & Magnesium Oxide. Bone Meal is naturally derived from cattle raised in the US and has been tested for heavy metals to assure the lowest levels. Hope this answers your question. I've used it for over a year in the special diet for my geriatric Diabetic dog, and she is thriving.

is it halal and free from pork products?

I don't see pork listed on the label. Instead I do see Australian cattle (MCHA) as one ingredient among other vitamins and minerals. I love this supplier and this product.

How long before seeing results?

You may not actually “see” or feel any different from taking Bone Strength. The supplement’s purpose is to strengthen bones. Improvement will be slow (months or years). Evidence would be improvement in a bone density scan (DEXA).

I think they work fantastic. My bone scan shows big improvements. In addition I take strontium two hours apart and just once a day. Do your exercise, don‘t smoke!
