Just did oil changes on 2016 Jaguar F-Type and 2016 XF today, No problems with the Motivx MX2325 oil filter wrench. Nicely made tool and well packaged. Probably costs twice as much as the generic ones but this one fits and works well, does not slip yet separates easily from the filter housing after installation. Did not damage the plastic oil filter housings. Well made tool for those mechanics that appreciate fine tools.

I bought this to change the oil filter on our 2010 Jaguar 5.0 and our 2013 Range Rover 5.0. Works perfectly and uses a 3/8" drive socket. It is made of metal so it doesn't spread or crack if you encounter a stuck filter cover.

I had gone to the local auto parts store twice looking for a wrench that would remove the oil filter from a 2012 Range Rover Sport but I had to return them both from two different stores because they would slip and not grip properly until I came to Amazon and purchased this one that did the magic and of course I get to keep it for life. At one point before purchasing this wrench I called the dealer asking how much it would cost to change oil 🛢 and they quoted me $350, plus tax. At that point I decided to buy my own oil 🛢 and this wrench and watch YouTube videos on how to do it. After my first successful oil change, I swear that I will never visit the dealership ever again for an oil change. The vehicle runs 🏃🏿‍♂️ like ( Usain Bolt), and like I just got it from the show room brand new and the little ticking noise that was beginning to sound is completely gone. I bought Liqui Molly oil from FCP EURO, and a genuine oil filter for the vehicle.

in this day and age,it is difficult too get well made and well designed products. this is both. it made getting the oil canister open on my jaguars 5.0 engine very easy. and will no doubt last for years do to the quality of the material it was made from. my mechanic likes this tool. and so do i.

With the reusable oil filter housing on my Jaguar XKR, I wanted to make certain I wouldn’t damage it with an el cheapo tool. So, I bought this. It is built great, and fit perfect. Removed the filter without damaging it. And it made in the USA.

First, this is a fairly well made aluminum diecast. Surface finish is great, fits the fluted oil filter great. I used this to remove my Jaguar XJ's oil filter and it did the job. Torquing back down by hand to 25 Nm it snapped under load, I'm not sure if it was a pulse of torque from me overtorquing or just a weak spot, but it snapped right down the middle during a cold day. They were quick to send a replacement and that has done fine in the loosening/retorquing procedure I did to make sure things were to spec. So, YMMV but Amazon and the mfg stood by their product.

Worked well for my Jag XJ but installing it onto the filter cannister was tight due to close proximity to a metal tube on top of the engine that deflected JUST ENOUGH to allow clearance. This socket is well made and is highly recommended for DIY or shop applications.
