Easy to use for the FX overhaul
This kit has it all to keep the FX4 running smoothly. Easy to install for a complete overhaul. Great buy with all parts included.

Doesn't come with instructions or necessary tools.
I gave this four stars because the service kit did not come with the tool to remove the rubber fitting that the propeller attaches to. Also, there are many o-rings that I don't know where they go and there was no lubricant to put on the o-rings. After doing the service on my Fluval FX4 filter, two days later, I had to open the motor housing again because the rubber ends that hold the plastic arm came off and caused the propeller to come loose. I ended up having to superglue the rubber ends on to prevent them from falling off.

Works like a charm
Works great with my salt water tank. Very powerful. A little hard to pull out and clean but works very good.

Instead of spending hundreds of dollars on a new canister filter I was able to fix the replacement parts. Comes with instructions and is easy to install. Would definitely recommend

New impeller helped reduce noise New gaskets for peace of mind Could be cheaper for what you get but I use this every year for preventative purposes.
