Easy Snug Infant Insert, Grey, Premium Cotton

We tried to use a rolled muslin cloth under his bottom first for a while but it didn’t work too well. Bought this and it was so easy to use and kept our baby’s hips/legs in that “M” position. He seemed comfortable in it and could fall asleep easily on the go. Awesome quality! Threw it in the wash and dryer several times and still works like a charm. I wish we had bought it sooner

I love our Ergobaby. Best investment. It's easy to put on, easy to take off, supportive while wearing. The straps make it easy to adjust. The insert has been helpful & was easy to apply to the actual carrier. It works well, & Ergobaby is the best quality carrier we've had! If I could change one thing, it would be to offer it in black because that goes with the carrier versus grey.

I heard bad reviews about the original Ergobaby Infant insert, which made me reluctant to purchase one. However since my newborn is too little to fit in the ergo (so I can't wear her because it is very uncomfortable for her) I was getting desperate. I have two children and one is 17 mos going on 3. It's impossible for me to keep up worth the bigger one while carrying our newborn. While looking online and debating whether or not to purchase the insert I found the new model Infant insert. I bought it hoping that it would work for my child. I love love love this product! My infant fits perfectly in the ergo now, this handy little insert is perfect for long walks, working around the house, and just getting my hands free! my little one fits in it snug as a bug. I highly recommend this product for a newborns.

We inherited an Ergobaby carrier and found that our little newborn didn't fit in it. After some online research, we found this insert is the necessary addition to the system. After watching some videos online about getting our newborn to properly fit into the carrier with this infant insert, it was easy to get our little one to fit in there. She was merely 2 weeks old and about 8.5 lbs when we put her into this carrier with the insert and she fits perfectly and was very comfortable being carried around. The fabric itself is very soft for our little baby's skin, and it was easy to attach to our existing carrier. The quality of definitely as expected from the Ergobaby line: sturdy and well-stitched.

Excellent quality and easy. Fits my ancient sling that I have been using for years. My newborn is in it everyday and soon she’ll be in the regular carrier. The ergo baby carrier has passed the test of time and the newborn insert is a great addition. I’m glad I bought it. It should be included when you buy an ergo baby carrier and it’s annoying that it isn’t included however I bought my carrier second hand and even though it’s been years, I can buy an ergo baby product and it works perfectly. Boo yah.

A friend gave me the ergo 360 and I wanted to try with my newborn. Overall it’s a good product for helping me use the ergo with my newborn. Just a few things I don’t like... The cost is high for temporary use. I don’t go out much since it’s not been very warm. The straps that attach always come undone while the baby is in the carrier. Not too much of a big deal, but makes the baby sink too low. The color gets dirty easy and is not as breathable as it seems. It’s a little bulky, but the cushion is soft and my baby doesn’t mind sitting on it. One positive is that it is detachable so when my son gets bigger we won’t have to deal with it. If you have an ergo and want to use it with newborn under 12 lbs, buy this. So long as you plan to really get some good use from it. 4 stars cause it’s really been somewhat useful to me, with only minor problems.

Super helpful to have this. I have the 360 carrier. Even though my baby is above the minimum weight recommended for the 360 (12 lbs), she screamed whenever I tried putting her in it. I got this insert and now she loves the carrier.

I have used this more than once and it works great. My little girl was less than two months old when I used it for the first time. It was a little tricky getting her in it for the first time, but like anything else, it takes practice. I like that it is like a little seat for her to sit on so she's not all bunched up on her feet. It did seem to keep us fairly cool since it was a pretty warm day when we were using it, but just having her body on my chest did warm us up. She seemed comfortable in it and didn't really cry when getting in it. I will definitely be using it for here very soon since the weather is nice once again. I highly recommend this for anyone who likes to carry their baby.

Only ok, the seat seems to ride away from the body of the carrier to the point that I ended up giving up trying to put baby in it alone and bought a different carrier

Bought this for my omni 360 and I love it. Little one sleeps in our bassinet stroller combo but with all the snow over the winter, the bumps wake him up so I opted for this to take him on walls with me. It's great: - Suuuper ready to attach to the in omni - Takes some time getting used to putting the baby in. - Great neck support for the little guy. If your like one is taller/longer, make sure to tug it up once they're settled in. There is the option of taking out the cushion too. - Also, because of where the carrier sits on my hips, I did notice the "seat" bumped into my (c-section) stitches which was uncomfortable at the start. The most important thing to note is that I run on the hot side and I would say the insert gets pretty warm/hot: Great for Canadian Winters / Springs but if you're looking to buy this to wear in the house (like I had hoped to) it might be a bit warm. Wear it with a t shirt and dress the baby down and you should be good to go.
