I’m using this as a warning light for an electric fan and a classic car. It’s sufficiently bright enough to see even in strong sunlight.

Smaller than I expected, bright but don't project the light
Smaller than I expected, I just didn't notice compared to the usual ones I buy. Even a group of 5 barely cast a glow a couple feet away. But to look directly at them, they are almost too bright. I wouldn't like them as an indicator light and they don't work as a red light even grouped together. Nice quality. I suggest drilling 1/32" smaller than 1/4".
