Pros & Cons
Pros: • All-metal construction — extremely solid and durable • Holds a Stanley 40 oz mug perfectly • Great for older trucks and utility vehicles • Works well floor-mounted without flexing • Handles rough terrain without tipping or cracking • Far better than plastic cup holders I’ve tried Cons: • Requires drilling for a solid mount • More industrial look than factory interiors (fine for a work truck) Overall: Installed this in a ’98 Ford Ranger utility pickup used for hauling lumber and moving lawn equipment. Other plastic floor-mounted holders failed quickly. This one is rock-solid and finally solved the problem. Highly recommended if you want durability over looks.

Quality built
This thing is durable, and it can be mounted just about any way you could think of. The holes are large enough to fit coffee mugs which I was happy to see. 10/10

1996 Jeep Cherokee
I bought this cup holder for my 1996 Jeep Cherokee, and it’s honestly one of the best small upgrades I’ve made. Older vehicles don’t exactly come with practical cup holders, so I needed something sturdy and this delivered. The build quality feels solid, not flimsy like a lot of cheaper options. It holds my larger tumbler (like my Stanley in the photo) securely without tipping or wobbling, even while driving. I also really like the simple, functional design. It fits well in the space next to my shifter without getting in the way. Installation was easy, and it stays in place well. It’s been super convenient having a reliable spot for drinks, especially on longer drives. If you have an older vehicle or just need an extra cup holder that actually works, I definitely recommend this one. It’s simple, sturdy, and does exactly what it’s supposed to do.

Good retrofit for vintage cars
If you have an older (say 1970s-1980s) car with bench seats you need an option for holding drinks because few automakers included cup holders back then. They don't really make much in the way of "hump" cup holders anymore and I didn't want a bulky one with CD or casset storage. Enter this product: I drilled a hole in the dead center of each cup holder section and ran a 2" drywall screw into the sheetmetal of the hump to secure it to the floor. I put it off-center (little bit to towards the passenger side) and ran the screw on that side through some scrap rubber to level-off the cup holder so it is flat (humps being curved made this a good idea). Holds fast food drinks & soda cans good. Liked it so much I bought another one for my friend's car when he was complaining about drinks in his 80s station wagon. Metal construction, should last many years.
