Amazing, but NOT waterproof
I bought these, along with the Tooli-Art 18 dual-tip set, mainly to paint peg dolls. I love that this set has a good variety of "skin tones" and neutral colors. These are easy to use and store, and the paint flows nicely, and (for the most part) evenly. For small details (like eyes, belts, and tiny stuff) the other set works better, since these pens don't have a fine tip. I've used these about 4 times in the last 2 months, and have no complaints. The only issue for me is that I thought that once dry, this paint would be waterproof (like regular acrylic paint) - but it's not. I'd say it's more like water resistant, but if you grab the painted pegs with sweaty hands or rub them, the paint rubs off... But this wasn't so much of a deal-breaker for me cuz I prefer to spray them with a varnish/ acrylic sealer afterwards, anyway.

Acrylic markers need to be well shaken for best results l
First things first, I **LOVE** that the company includes a few replacement nibs in the box and explicitly tells you to pull the nib and either run it under water or soak it in water if it becomes clogged. Replacement nibs extend the life of your paint markers by so much! I'm a mixed media artist. I like acrylic markers for a variety of techniques. I've used P*sca markers from Uni/Mitsubishi and I like them but they are so expensive and only available in a limited pallette in my local stores. This set is a dream. The colours are so much more typical of those I usually prefer and have beautiful opacity as long as I remember to shake them really well before using. (I recommend a vortex style laboratory bench mixer if you us a lot of paint markers)... I quickly found that I wanted to work in finer detail and bought this same colour set in the fine point as well. I wish that Tooli made these in larger sizes an in, maybe, a chisel or broad tip, but I suppose that I can purchase some of those in open stock from other manufacturers.

Artist approved pens!
I'm an artist and have tried many paint pens. I use them for all kinds of things and recently got into paint by numbers kits for fun in my spare time. Paint by numbers paints suck. They are always dried out (I've done 22 so far and every kit has at least 3 dried up paints, sometimes the whole kit - but i digress.) I decided to try using my paint pens. And they are awesome for the intricate paint by numbers, but I didn't have the range of colors I needed. The colors in this kit are great addition to my already huge collection of paint pens! Very impressed and recommended.

Tooli is a really good quality brand and I've tried many others...
What I really love about these pens is the quality. You can tell just by holding them in your hand that they're quality. I have ordered and used many different acrylic paint markers and after using these, I realize that the higher price is justified because it's a top notch marker. I compare it to Arrtx which is also a good marker and worth the extra $. I consider these two brands ones that professionals like me should be using. I've ordered cheap acrylic paint markers just to try them out and those are complete trash that dry out, or even come dried out even before you receive them. Tooli is the opposite and they come with directions on how to care for them properly and how to prep them for use. They also come with extra nibs. The only downside is that I find the nibs to fat for the exact application I want to use them for. I wish Tooli offered all the same color packs with different nib options. What I need is the brush tip. I use the brush tip for the Greens set and I love them. However, I need to expand my color palette so it's a bummer not all colors are available in the brush tip. I also wish Tooli offered the ability to order specific colors .Because I'm a professional crafter and use these markers for my business,, I use specific colors over an over again and so that leaves me in a situation where I need to order a whole pack again just for the two or three pens where I used all the ink. Double thumbs up though for these Toolis!

Wow! These even completely cover a thick layer of gel pen!
I've never used paint pens before, but thought I'd give them a try after I had seen some people use them in coloring books. These pens are really OPAQUE (which is good)! I ran one across a large gel pen swatch i had done, and with just one pass, you couldn't even tell there was gel pen underneath! I'm not sure how I'm going to use them yet, but if there's an element or a mistake on a coloring page that I want to make completely disappear, this would be what I would use to make that happen.

Nice traditional paint markers
These are great markers, love the Earth tone and skintone collection. Deep, pigmented colors. Traditional paint markers that must be shaken and tips have to be primed and bled down before use, so don’t take them last minute, make sure you do that ahead if you’re using them for an event! They are all quite deep, so I added a set of pastel paint markers, and a few individually purchased white markers to round out the collection for painting baby blocks.

Paint dries quickly and is vibrant.
Tried these pens just for a little abstract mark making pieces. Paint layered well and dries insanely fast making it easy for me to use with kids around.

Wow. Exceeded expectations and this is my genuine experience. Arrived well-packaged and in quick time. The paint is easy to let down with the pumping action. The paint is good and opaque. It is also very smooth and flows beautifully. The colours are gorgeous. I bought several sets including this one, and across the sets there are one or two that are similar, though not exactly the same. I'd rate these above Posca on huge variety of colours. The paint performance equals Posca in my opinion. I don't know how lightfast these are but they are great for artists as well as crafters, if working in sketchbooks, or creating an artwork that is to be scanned in and reprinted. The pens are smaller than I expected, which is okay, it explains why they're so much cheaper than the much larger Posca pens, as there's less metal plastic and of course paint. I'd love to see these offered with a 6mm chisel nib, a brush tip, and as open stock - or even refill paint bottles. If Tooli-Art did all this, they could corner the market. Well impressed!
