Lenox 893677 Portola Black 20-Piece Flatware Set

I love the rich black shiny color of this flatware. I use it with multiple dinnerware patterns and they are just as beautiful as when I first purchased them.

The mirror finish gives this set an elegant look. Love that it is dishwasher safe.

I have researched black flatware sets over a 2-month period, bought a few and sent them all back. Until I found these - very sturdy, brand name, no rough tines, good looking and no rust and/or chipping. For the three months that I have had them, they are used daily and have been put in the dishwasher. Still look like I just got them!

They were a great buy, I bought 3 sets for less than I was going to pay elsewhere for 2 sets. They are a great value, fits nicely in your hand.

This is a beautiful set but not the standard I’d expect from Lenox. Purchased because it specifically stated they were dishwasher safe; they began to rust the first time they were washed in the dishwasher.

After washing, I noticed considerable wear and tear, which is unacceptable for an item marketed as high-quality flatware. Moreover, the overall quality of the flatware left much to be desired. With a weight of 3.45 LB, I expected sturdy and durable utensils. However, the actual product didn't meet these expectations. The pieces felt flimsy and were not as robust as I would have liked. All in all, this set didn't provide the quality or convenience I expected. I feel the product is not worth its price point due to these significant drawbacks. For those considering the Lenox Portola 20-Piece Flatware Set, I would recommend exploring other options that offer both quality and dishwasher safety.

I bought these for a gift in late January and they were just now used & ran through the dishwasher for the first time an are already rusted. Description said DISHWASHER SAFE.
