I generally don’t care for these type of products because of the fact that they leave an after taste from the sweetener. I find this really refreshing and I think the taste is pretty good honestly. I can tell it has made a difference. I am less dehydrated when using this product.

I was reluctant to like this product because it was being promoted by a bunch of well-paid contractor firefighters; however, I was looking for an electrolyte replacement delivery system to use while on assignments in the field. The first flavor I tried was the wild berry, and I was hit with an immediate aftertaste of baking soda. Fortunately, the taste dissipated quickly. I have since tried the lemon, orange, and watermelon. They are all very solid as far as flavor. This product is packed with electrolytes, and supposedly in a balance that not only replaces lost electrolytes, but helps in situations in which you might need a more immediate and effective delivery system for nutrient uptake. The product of provides multiple sugars that are immediately available for the body to use instead of the corn syrups you tend to see in other brand name electrolyte drinks. The product also does not break the bank like Liquid IV does, so there is a cost savings aspect as well. Always make sure you are hydrated, and your electrolyte levels are where they should be before you start a big day, or in general. This isn't a cure all, but can be an effective supplement throughout the day, and in situations where you need more immediate replacement.

I use these all the time and keep buying more. They are great for a number of situations, but here is how I use them: - beat the summer heat - recover from heat-related fatigue or ailment - road trips/flying (or whenever you need to stay hydrated but can't be peeing every hour) - Jet lag recovery - post-workout - pregnancy and nursing (total lifesaver since you get so dehydrated so fast!!) Right after the baby was born and I had to be up every few hours to nurse I had to have a bottle with one of these packets on my nightstand every night for probably the first three to four weeks because I was so fatigued and dehydrated I seriously thought I'd pass out without it. Also, in the first 1-2 days of my cycle I'm usually very low and prone to heat-related issues and have had a few instances where I needed to be hospitalized because I blacked out. Since then I always try to have electrolytes handy because they help tremendously and these are so much easier to carry around than a bottle of gatorade or something when water alone just won't cut it. They are great to stick in your bag, they even fit in a large wallet. I keep some in the diaper bag, and some in the glove compartment in the cars and some in our emergency kits. They are a bit pricier than I prefer but it is cheaper (and more convenient) than buying a bottle of Gatorade or Pedialyte and I think just as effective without as much sugar. Some flavors I like more than others but none are bad, those orange is my least favorite and grape/fruit punch are favorites. I prefer the variety packs to mix it up.
