Formula is good but of all the matte lipstick brands I've tried, this one is a little odd. It's very thick and pasty. Don't get me wrong, it applies fine and feels fine on the lips and doesn't wander into fine lines or wrinkles. Not drying at all. It's a good value for the quality. I have other mattes in other brands, where I like the formula better but this one is fine.
