Hydro Mousse - Liquid Lawn Refill Pack, 2lb Bag (Covers 400sq. ft.)

We did a complete house remodel inside and out … that construction completely ruined all the lawn around the house … we did a lot of work on the front yard, we did the rototiller, clean dirt, fertilizer and very expensive seed… by time we got to this little section in the garden area we were to exhausted to do anymore fancy lawn… but we needed some sort of lawn … this ground was like cement but oh well we were done with lawn work so we tried this liquid lawn … Oh My Goodness … our exhausting front lawn doesn’t even compare to this little section… thing is winter, spring, summer and fall the lawn stays Green and beautiful… funny thing this liquid lawn is so easy to use and so worth the money. This spring we are going to over spray it on the front lawn… oh did I mention we live in pretty extreme weather conditions… lots of rain, snow and heat and the lawn still looks great. And it all came in so very fast … I can’t say enough great things about this product. If people think this stuff is difficult to use they didn’t read the instructions and if they say it doesn’t work they didn’t read the directions… it’s to simple it’s to easy not complicated at all.

Do not buy this! it turned me blue and all of my clothing and patio furniture blue once the dry powder you mix into the grass seed hits the wind. It blows all over everything and will ruin everything. Degrasse itself did not even grow any better than the regular stuff. this has ruined so much of my stuff that it is an absolute nightmare do not buy it.

It will work but the little packs that get add to the hold gets all over you and the sprayer bottom never works right for it to spay your lawn . The spayer is super wrong for getting it on your lawn. Its a bad buy it want to get it on spots. I will now buy it again due to the spay you cant get it were you need it at.

Not what it's cracked up to be.

I've used this product in the past with acceptable results but in no way we're they instant results. The key is definitely in the preparation of the soil. I treated my soil a week prior to application by applying Scott's Starter Fertilizer (I swear by that product). I then prepared the soil as instructed, applied the hydro-seed and then kept it watered. It sprouted within 4 weeks, probably less. However, it was a little on the thin side. So this time, rather than applying double the amount for thicker results, I decided to lightly pre-seed the area by hand, then apply the hydro-seed. Im very confident I will get the results I desire. I honestly believe the key is in the preparation and post-watering. And, allow the grass to become very well established before cutting or walking on it. The longer you wait to cut it, the stronger the root system will be and the thicker the results. A man who is patient shall get what he waits for.

Great product!

Pros- It's Tall Fescue mix of grass so it grows pretty fast. For extreme small areas you might have enough to make a difference. Cons- The application is not that great. The water in sprayer model I find not as good as traditional seed spreaders. The cost of product is high for the amount of seed needed for real or larger areas. I would recommend buying a bag of seed then fertilize it as you spread it. For a lot of grass it takes a lot of seed remember that.

Huge scam. This product is nothing more than a small bag of overpriced grass seed and a couple Tide Pod-sized packets of green dye. Any grass seed will grow if the conditions are right, so there’s nothing special or revolutionary here. The green dye is mildly useful because it helps you see where you’ve applied the seed, but it does absolutely nothing to improve or accelerate growth. Don’t buy this expecting results comparable to a professional hydroseeding application, because you won’t get them. The advertising is misleading, and the end result is likely to leave you very disappointed.
