It goes where you spray it not in the air & despite the can’s weekly recommendation, it only is needed every year or so (depending on the moisture content where you live & how likely it is for you to leave your tools outside). My last can lasted me 10 years. I live in Northeast Texas, not real dry or wet. **Q: is this the same product as Bostik Glidecoat V207501?** A: I used to Glidecoat in the past and now use Top Coat... Total rip off. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Review *by O***R on 25 October 2024* Heard about this stuff on "Insider Carpentry" YouTube channel, along with an abrasive pad that Spencer Lewis (the finish carpenter) uses in conjunction with it to clean up and treat machined cast iron equipment surfaces, e.g. table saw, band saw, planer bed, lathe bed, etc. If you're a finish carpenter, or just interested in the craft, get on this guy's channel. I've been a general contractor for over 45 years, a carpenter for most of the time since 1963, done a fair amount of finish work, and this guy is in his 30's - I have learned a LOT from him. I got a house a couple of years ago the needed serious renovation - I completely replaced the interior finish (doors, window trim, base board, etc.) - even as a pretty old guy it was a fun project, largely due to what I picked up from Spencer - he's a good guy. Another product I discovered that I like a lot so far is called "Slipit". It is a non oily lubricant that isn't supposed to collect sawdust and protects from rust. I have several woodworking vices (Yost brand will give you a good picture of what they look like) that have two round shafts that the jaw slides on. They get sticky and tend to rust as well - I cleaned up and treated these with Slipit and am amazed with how smoothly they work now.
