I use these every day! You can contact us for warranty service at: customer-service@knipex-tools.com **Q: Any reason to go with cv boot pliers over this tool?** A: They really don’t give you enough leverage to properly clamp the boot tight enough in my opinion. It’s best to spend a little more for the right tool. Most Boot clamps give you the ability to extend them with 1/2” breaker bars or ratchets to clamp tight. These are great for ear o-rings for hosing and vacuum lines.
