The herringbone plush design allows the robe to feel very soft and cozy. Because it is NOT terry cloth nor made out of cotton it is not highly absorbing. It would be best to towel dry before wrapping yourself in this soft robe. Best used as a cover up or for lounging in plushness. Well worth the inexpensive cost charged. The belt is separate but fits well in the loops provided and sits nicely at the natural waist. I am seriously thinking of buying several for 2020 Christmas gifts.
