Why did you pick this product vs others?: Solid quality, sleek design. Love the engraved flag on the side and the engraving on the blade. Great quality for an unbeatable price. One of my favorites knifes out of my not-so-small collection of knives. The blade flies out smooth and the fit is solid without any wobbling. No screws getting loose. Great for anything like camping or fishing. I bring it for protection when I go out to the city as I've been robbed and assaulted which left me with a bad injury.

This knife exceeded my expectations for the price. The stainless steel blade comes sharp right out of the box and holds its edge well with light to moderate use. The etched eagle design on the blade combined with the US flag handle gives it a bold and eye-catching look, making it just as suitable for display as it is for everyday carry. The build quality feels sturdy and reliable. It has a good weight to it, and the handle fits comfortably in the hand, making it easy to grip and control. The spring assist works smoothly, allowing for quick one-handed opening, and the liner lock holds the blade securely in place. It may not be on the same level as premium knives, but for its price, it performs far above what I expected. This makes a great affordable gift for anyone who appreciates knives. Over all I am very impressed with these knives doe the money. They aren't the sharpest out of the box nor the most refined. But for the price they are better than most I've handled in the range. We bought 4 of these as collectable gifts over EDC. Out of the 4, 2 hand very nice and smooth actions. 2 did not open as nicely and required oiling and working to get opening more smoothly. Finish is very nice with the artwork on the blade being etched not just printed like other knives I've seen. The aluminum handle scales are machined nicely, feel good in hand and look great. My only complaint would be it is a patriotic knife made in China... but at this price what do you expect?

I've owned, loved and used knives my entire life. Knives are a functional tool to me and IMOP, there are 4 categories of knives. 1. Cheap junk like you might buy for a dollar or two at a gas station or parts store. 2. Inexpensive decent, you can get these at many places like cabelas or walmart. 3. Good but a bit pricey, likely found at places like cabelas or other outdoor outlets. 4. Overly expensive and more of a piece of art that you likely won't ever use due to its value (custom made) To me, the MTECH knives are a good, inexpensive knife. You likely aren't buying a premium blade but they will sharpen and do the trick just fine. The quality is decent and they will hold up just fine for the average user. These knives have some decent heft to them and feel sturdy. The action is a bit sub-par on many of these knives at this price point but you're getting what you paid for. These aren't what I'd consider crappy knives and yet they're not on the same level as Benchmade, Spyderco or even Buck for that matter but they are a good knife for the money.

This "dont tread on me" logo is a solid build, rapid spring assist opening, all metal, rugged pocket knife with cool looks and functional clip. Excellent value for the money.

Best blade for the buck. They last for years with average use. Get you one!
