With which size needles this threader work?

If I can't see to get thread into machine needle, how can I see to get this into it?????

I could not put these through the eye of the hand needles, unless they were embroidery needles that already had larger eyes. I could occasionally get them through the eye of my machine needle, but it frayed the thread . I ended up throwing them all away

Why do why do you need so many (for hand sewing)

To share with sewing circle friends and others I guess I shred mine

Will it work on a fishing hook?

I believe it would. It is a small wire hook that you insert through a hole (like on a needle) and then it hooks the thread (or fishing line) and you pull it through the hole. I have found it works great!
