I am loving this juicer!
I've had this now for about a week and am using it once or twice a day. We're juicing herbs, green leafies, veggies, and fruits, including berries. I love this juicer! So far, I don't have anything negative to say about it. The pulp from the foods is pretty dry, so it does a good job of extracting the juice. I've put the pulp back through on a couple of the juices we've made and have gotten a little bit of additional juice out, but, really, this juicer does a good job on the first pass. I've mainly had success getting additional juice when I've put through citrus fruits; those seem to need a couple of pass-throughs to be really dry. It's quiet, and, I think, operates at a reasonable speed. I read the reviews where other users felt that it was a hassle to cut up the foods first. I don't know about that. I do a lot of cooking, so, to be honest with you, the amount of prep that we go through to make up a batch of juice just doesn't seem like that big a deal. It's a couple of minutes, literally. Additionally, the juicer is easy enough to operate (and fun enough) that my eight-year old is LOVING the juicemaking. It's also incredibly, incredibly easy to clean. My previous experience was with a centrifugal juicer and it was a major, major hassle. Cleaning the unit too more time than making the juice! This one breaks apart in a matter of seconds and it takes just a few minutes to rinse and wash the pieces. The most time is spent scrubbing the juice screen with a brush, but, again, it's a matter of seconds. The caveat? You absolutely have to wash it up *before* you drink the juice. I can't imagine how one would clean this if you let the veggie debris dry. So, no problem, make your juice, dissemble and wash the unit, then go and enjoy your healthful drink. I don't know that I'd put a really soft fruit in it though. Foods like bananas, papayas, etc, may still be better blended up in your blender or food processor. Even the manual states that, if you're going to use the juicer for soft fruits, you should freeze them first. I would imagine that those types of foods would really make a mess in the juicer. In summation, if you're looking for a juicer that is easy, efficient, and not too pricey, this one is a good choice.

Well Worth The Money
I did a lot of research on juicer machines and this was the one I picked. Because most decent juicers were priced from $100, I wanted to be sure before I purchased. I looked at all the different juicer reviews on Amazon as well as other web sites which took a long time to do. I started with the one star reviews because that really tells a lot about the product and what might be a problem area of that product. I didn't get to the 5 star reviews in most cases because the 1-3 star reviews helped make up my mind whether the product was good or not. After deciding that vegetable juice was what I was interested in juicing, the masticating juicer was the logical choice for me. The juicer grinds the veggies at a slow speed which, from the many articles I had read, is "good" for not overheating the juice. The next thing I had to decide was what masticating juicer to buy. It is amazing how many juicers there are for sale. I also looked at videos which compared one juicer from another. I picked the Omega J8004 juicer for price, reliability, warranty, ease of cleanup - that said, here are some random thoughts since I purchased it over a month ago. I use the juicer everyday, but only "juice" in the morning. The complaint I read the most about the juicer was that the feed chute was too small. Yes, compared to some of the other juicers, it is small, but if you cut the veggies smaller there is no problem. The booklet that comes with the juicer says that you should only run the machine for a maximum of 30 minutes - I cut up the veggies before starting to juice and 30 minutes is way more than enough time to get the job done. Granted, I am only making enough juice for 2 people and that equates to 2 - 12oz glasses of juice. The other "complaint" I read was from someone who wished they had purchased the black and chrome model (J8006) because the white model stained a bit and they didn't like that. I just make sure that I wipe the machine down thoroughly after I finish juicing and don't have a stain problem. I also take my time and not force the veggies through and thereby have no problem with jamming the machine. I find that the machine produces a lot of juice and almost dry pulp all of the time. If you are in a hurry when you juice, pick a time to juice when you can enjoy the process - it really is fun to do! I have also found that mixing 3-6 different veggies together is ok. I start with a base of carrots and mix in (usually) 4 darker leafed veggies. The juice doesn't look real pretty, but it tastes great. Cleanup is relatively easy too! I look forward to many years of use from this wonderful machine and I think that if you purchase one, you will enjoy it as much as I do.

No pensé estar tan contenta!! Y los jugos....Deliciosos!! Al momento no he utilizado el resto de los accesorios, así que de ellos todavía no puedo opinar.
