It connected right away without needing any programming, which was neat. Other than that, it could be better overall. Mine keeps disconnecting, and there's a major lag in the response time. I press the buttons and I have to wait a few seconds to see if it reacts or if I have to redo it again. Sometimes it will finally react, and it exaggerates the input. A lot of times I'll get a message on the TV saying that it has disconnected and to press two buttons on the remote to reconnect. Kind of annoying. It's ok as a backup, but as an everyday use, it lacks reliability. I will be looking for something else.

This remote worked with my VIZIO smart TV immediately with no programming needed. The layout matches the original, including the streaming shortcut buttons, and everything responds instantly. My original samsung remote didn't work. The button to move right was broken. This one just needed batteries and boom - way better than original samsung remote. Only now, "Disney" button doesn't work. Which is fine since all other buttons do.

Bought the remote as a replacement for a Samsung Q80 LED TV that we've had for at least 6 years. Pretty identical design to the original so it was easy for my mother to use it as she was used to the old one. This remote though, has a clicking sound when u press the selection button. The other style did not. The volume buttons are the same bar style type where you push it up or down. No programming was needed just a simple battery insert and worked immediately. No light up. Very light and small.

It does the job extremely well for the price, and the quick Amazon Shipping was a lifesaver! I bought this controller as a temporary necessity while waiting for the original control to reappear from wherever it is misplaced. A week and a half later, I have still not found my original control, and this one still works right out of the box. I don’t like it that the published description indicated that it would have the same streamline shape as the original. In that aspect, I felt deceived by all the conflicting information in the Amazon ad. It doesn’t have all of the features of the control that came with the television. But I love that it worked right out of the box and that the price is so reasonable. And that it has all the important functions I need, and the buttons are all in the Samsung locations so I don’t have to learn to use it all over again.when I find the original, I will revert to its use on my two wonderful Samsung sets . But I will keep this Control as my backup, because it works perfectly, and has all of the basic functions and they work well.

Genial funciona

Bought two of these controllers for our Samsung Frame as the kids had destroyed the original that came with the TV. I much prefer these ones, they feel sturdier and do the job well. They can be a little unresponsive at times and as others say you need to be pointing them directly at the tv to work, but this is a minor inconvenience and for the low price easy to accept. I intend to buy again once the kids destroy these.
