My family are going on vacation soon and have been fighting bed bugs. Would it be possible to leave one in each room while we are gone?

Yes but you need to calculate the size of the room and leave the appropriate amount of strips in each room. I used 4 in a standard bedroom with 1 in the closet and left them for a week. Aired out the room for exterminators then back in for another week. Before you come home someone should air out the rooms and house. These along with heat and spraying should work. It also helps to leave a fan on to circulate the fumes and help air out the rooms prior to coming back.  If you have pets of any kind, keep them out of the house or rooms while treating. These are also good for treating things that can't be sprayed or heat treated. I cut them (use nitrile gloves and old scissors for only this purpose) and put in heavy duty plastic bags and treated everything for a minimum of 3 wks. Nothing came out alive. Hope this helps!

yes, on clothing and bed covering. put the items in a large plastic bag with a nuvan strip, it is very effective. do not use these in a bedroom as they can make you very sick when exposed for long periods

Hi Shopper, you made a statement “I am going to...” but you did not specify a particular question. As a user of this product, I would say that UNLESS you do have a problem with bed bugs you could use this product with limited success (YMMV). If no bed bugs are present, this is a dangerous product to use and should not be used profolactivly. The state of CA has banned this product because it is poisonous. I would also say that it will leave a residuae as it evaporate and it is hard to clean. You need massive ventilation after using. I hope I gave you enough information to decide against this product unless you do have bed bugs and the results are not guaranteed. There are better alternatives.
