Wilton 10 Inch Round Cake Boards, Fits 8in, 9in Cakes, 12 Count

I needed a variety of round boards as a substrate for various expressive art projects. These were perfect for sizes, but the Wilton brand had holes in the middle and a waxy surface. Perfect for cakes, but for art work not the best. I love the range of sizes. They are very sturdy and this was a good value.

The turn table is awesome, even the beginners like me were able to decorate the cake with the proper tools. I really loved the product ease of use. The silicon icing bags are so good especially the icing clips can be changed in the bottom without changing the silicon bags. The other designing tools are also given nice finishing for my cake. For this price range, good product nice to have for every level of baker. Flower maker tool is a bonus.

I use these under a cake that I carry in my Rubbermaid cake holder to someone’s house. That way, I can easily transfer it to their cake platter. I can also leave the rest of the cake without leaving my cake holder. Great idea! Oh and once I actually re-used one I had used with a dolly under a plain poundcake that was eaten the next day. It didn’t get dirty at all. I wrapped it in foil and re-used it. They’re quite sturdy.

They are so sturdy and they fit perfectly different size cakes. Love that they come in a pack so if I make 2 or more cakes I have enough boards. They also come in white, gold, and silver and they are so decorative, they make your cakes look so pretty 😍

Board is sturdy and comes with a 1 inch perforated circle in the middle so you don't have to cut it when stacking layers. I had no idea it came that way since the other Wilton boards I bought in the past didn't have that. But since the hole is a lot larger than the 1/2 dowls I use, I did notice some shifting and leaning on my 10" cake layers compared to my smaller top layers that were cut to size. I wouldn't say it's the items fault but it would be nice if it came with option sizes for the center holes.

I’m a home baker & wanted round cake boards for birthday & holiday cakes that were reasonably priced. I searched on Amazon & found these. I am completely satisfied with these cake boards. They’re sturdy & my 9” round layer cake fit on it w/ room to spare. Frosting my cake was easier on the cake board than on a plate because the plate has a slightly raised edge. The board was sturdy enough for me to carry a 3 layer cake that had wine spread on the layers, sliced strawberries between the layers, & halved berries on top from the kitchen to the dining room without a problem. It was a very heavy cake. These cake boards are a great value. I highly recommend them.

Why didn't I start buying these years ago? I certainly take cakes to enough bake sales and potlucks. At a cost of less than 50¢ each today, I can stop trying to keep track of cake pans, and the kitchen crew can stop washing them. The 10-inch circles were designed for 9-inch cakes that have almost nothing on the sides. They fit my unfrosted Bundt pans very nicely, with just a small (1 cm) edge around the Nordic Ware Platinum Collection Heritage Bundt Pan . If you want to do fancy decorations around the edge of the cake, then use an 8-inch cake pan instead, or get the next size up. If you want something a little dressier without making icing roses, then try the Wilton 10-Inch Show 'N Serve Cake Board, 10-Pack , which has a little bit of "lace" printed around it. Transportation: If you don't have frosting or sticky stuff on the cake, then you can wrap the whole thing up in plastic cling wrap. (Those mailing labels that keep appearing in the junk mail will make any loose ends stick down, and coincidentally put your name on the cake, in case there's a checklist for the bake sale.) If it's going to be eaten soon, then I usually put the unwrapped cake on the cardboard cake board inside my Tupperware cake taker. When I arrive, I take the cake out and walk my cake carrier back to the car. This way everything looks nice and I still don't have to find my cake taker at the end.

Son padrísimas, lucen muy lindas, son resistentes, no absorben la grasa y son geniales para colocar en pasteles de varios pisos, ya que ya traen una pequeña abertura en el centro para poder colocar el soporte. 👌

Great brand, but not sturdy enough, cut edge as well- which is unsightly.

Bereits mehrfach gekauft. Ich verwende es jedoch als Zwischenplatte bei mehrstöckigen Torten. Der Karton kann gut zugeschnitten werden, ist relativ dick und eignet sich daher gut für mehrstöckige Torten. Als Cakeboard würde ich es nicht verwenden, da es Karton ist und jeder Fleck sichtbar ist.

Trop décevant !! Je n'avais pas vu que c'était de vulgaires ronds en cartons blancs, qu'il fallait agrémenter de papier alu pour que ça ressemble à quelque chose ! Autant découper des cercles de cartons Amazon pour le prix !!
