Good value.
Exact fit, worked fine, as expected. Shop by specific part number; fits multiple brand dryers. Probably only one manufacturer, so look for best price. Arrived sooner than quoted. Ceramic heating element very fragile. First shipment arrived broken, despite plenty of padding. Prompt replacement by Amazon, which arrived intact.

Great item and very simple to replace and saved a big service call. Only suggestion is to be aware of the slot in plastic part of the "key". It does not clip in solidly, but rests on an angled tab in the dryer to insure it ignites properly. It'll look a little funny, but that's how it's supposed to go.

Works Perfectly...Saved A Lot of Money (compared to repairman or buying a new dryer)
Hardest thing was figuring out which part was defective in my MAYTAG dryer. Watching YOUTUBE videos was the key to learning what to do. Using a multimeter I bought for around $40 to measure continuity helped isolate the defective part. Second hardest thing was disassembling the dryer to gain access to the components that could have failed. Once I determined it was the ignitor, ordering this part was easy (it arrived the next day). And replacing the old part with new took just 10 minutes. All my time spent added up to 4 hours....watching videos, disassembly, testing parts, ordering part, and putting the dryer back together. But for me, that time saved me hundreds of dollars compared to calling a repairman (who would've charged $400) or buying a new dryer for no less than $600+.

Not just for Whirlpool
I have a Maytag dryer and after a lot of research I found out that part#37001308 has replaced many brands of igniters. I checked with the #1 Maytag carrior (sounds like ears but add an s) There parts department confirmed the change and told me it was $57 plus no store carried it so it would have to ship for $10 - 3 day or $18 - 2 day. I check the web for other distributors and found it for about $20 with shipping. My wife suggested to try Amazon $9 and free shipping! It came in 3 days as promised and it looks exactly like the old one. Just to test I put an ohm meter on it and checked out good. Replaced it 1 month ago and still seems to be working just fine. Will update if I have to replace it in the near future.

Works as expected
The product came quickly and I was able to install easily and fix the problem cheaply. Much cheaper than calling out the repair man. Recommended.

Laziest man in the world attempts to fix drier.
I thought I'd fix my drier all by myself, cause I wear the pants in my house. But this was broken almost right out of the box. But I'm lazy, so instead of sending it back I just bought a used drier.
