I had neglected to properly wipe down my flute for a while, so I knew it was definitely overdue. I tried this cloth and it immediately took ALL the stains off and left it super shiny! I really wish I had taken a "before" photo of the footjoint, which was the absolute worst, but I was so excited about how easily it removed the tarnish that I got carried away and cleaned the whole thing at once. Seriously, it makes my flute look new again - with the exception of the tiny little nooks and crannies that my fingers couldn't reach. I guess I could try wrapping a cotton swab or toothpick in the cleaning cloth to reach those places? Anyway, I will try to add a photo in which you can see how much black stuff came off the footjoint alone, after the very first use! It did leave dark stains on my hands, but they came off easily with soap and water. My thumbs were also a little sore from all the wiping, but my flute looked pretty bad, so I had to wipe it a LOT (about 15-20 minutes)! I'm sure if I'm more responsible and take a minute or two to wipe down my flute after every use, it will be faster and easier to keep it looking shiny and new all the time. Anyway, I'm super happy with this product.
