Not bad, not bad at all but needs a lot of light.
Fits cameras used by trinocular microscopes. All adjustments are smooth. Need its light source, otherwise too dark

Excellent lens
Works very well for what I needed to do - focus on an object relatively close (30 cm) and fill the field of view. Used with a C-mount Daheng camera, rather than the Raspberry Pi HQ camera.

Not ideal for M43 cameras, but interesting
I bought this purely as a test for my Micro Four Thirds camera, not expecting it to work well as I have seen a lot of lenses like this for sale on Amazon. The lens does 'work' but it's not ideal for M43 and putting it onto my Sony A7 it's even less ideal (very likely the same for any APS-C camera). This is the 'final boss' of vignetting for sure, especially at it's widest (because 40%-50% of the image is the lens barrel) but at it's longest, it just doesn't cover the M43 sensor at all; you just get a little less lens barrel. Each functional part of the lens has a locking nut to hold each ring in place: focus, zoom and aperture (from open to closed, no f stops). I do like it though, and I will use it, it has character, but it just doesn't have the coverage of my 52mm Switar cine lens (104mm equivalent). For M43 cameras, I believe a prime C Mount lens would likely be better or at least a lens that doesn't have such a physically long barrel. NOTE: None of the images have been cropped.

Good lens with caveat.
I like the lens but it appears to have a non-standard filter thread, 37.5 mm. I need a polarizing filter and a normal 37 mm filter does not fit and I have not been able to find any that do.
