A good product that consistently works
We just received this box of Dr. Killigan's, but we have been using the product for the past 2 years. I can't tell you that the moths have 100% disappeared, but the traps began working immediately. The first year they kept a lid on the problem. The next summer there were noticeably fewer moths, and this winter we have seen maybe one or two in the past 3 months. Accordingly, I would have to confess to a high level of satisfaction with the product.

This is how to win with moths!
Last summer I got a bad batch of dog food delivered. Did not realize it until I was battling little flitty moths for 3 months and had dumped it into my metal container in the garage. Finally got rid of them. Found them again this spring in my laundry room closet when I accidentally left a small amount of dog food in my dog supplies I take to my lake house. Been obsessed trying to get rid of them until I found these traps by accident when reading how to clean with vinegar and water to get rid of the moths. Ordered a box of 20, received them on a Friday, got home from work and spent an hour opening and placing these in every room in my house, my laundry room and laundry room closet. On Saturday spent all day cleaning and washing everything in the closet along with the linens I had stored and the entire closet shelves, walls, doors and floor. I told you. Obsessed. Found quite a few in the traps, placed these traps in the closet. Working very well. Best thing I have found to control these dumb moths. I have NEVER had moths in dog food in 40 years. And I hope I never do again. Btw-the dog food was delivered by Amazon. Been getting it delivered for years. Hope I don’t EVER get another bag like that again. But at least now I know how to battle them with these traps!!! I say bring it moths!!! I have these sticky traps!!!!

Gets the job done
Honestly one of the best products we've used to get rid of this moth infestation we have; we got rid of anything infested first and we set up the traps which fits basically anywhere. Everyday after that we saw less and less moths and larvae. For the past week, since about a month ago, we have seen no larvae. It’s effective, sticky, and really easy to install. So far its been durable. For the price point, I would totally buy it again.

The Absolute Best and we've tried them ALL - Updated
We are owned by 3 parrots. As anyone can tell you with parrots, you get pantry moths. It doesn't matter how clean you are, they arrive in bird seed. We've frozen the bird seed for upward of 3 months, and still, moths. Its just part of the price you pay for loving birds. We rent and our landlord hired a Professional Pest Control company to take care of another issue in the house left by the former tenant and we, as tenants, paid them on our own, to professionally treat for the moths. That lasted about 2 months. For reasons I can't figure out, the pantry moths, like mosquitoes, and other bugs, just love me, and bite me as well as infest the pantry and the bird area. So its important to keep them down to a minimum. We are able to do this easily and pretty inexpensively with Dr. Killigan's Premium Pantry Moth Traps With Pheromone Attractant, either the blue or black packages. We've bought both colors and they work equally well. Our latest purchase arrived yesterday, and I put them out and I know we have been successful for a few reasons. 1) All I'm seeing is the older gray moths 2) No juvenile moths at all - we have successfully interrupted the breeding cycle 3) I put these out and placed them where the sun would warm them and allow the scent to waft through the room and instead of being swarmed like in the past, there were very few moths going to the trap. I'm careful not to place in direct sunlight so I don't ruin the Pheromone Attractant or cause it to lose its effectiveness too soon. 4) I follow the directions as indicated in the little paper in the box. It really does help make with the effectiveness. If I could ask one thing it would be that these would be available as a Subscribe and Save item. I'm on a fixed income and I know others in the bird community that I've recommended these to are also. It would be helpful for those of us who use these as recommended, to be able to save a bit, and to be able to get auto delivery of these when its time to replace them. If you're reluctant about trying this brand, or you're thinking that you'll save a few bucks trying another brand that maybe has 7 traps and is a few dollars less, please save yourself the time and hassle. We made that mistake, and ended up throwing them away after following the directions step by step, and leaving them out for a month. They caught a few moths, but only a few, nothing at all like Dr. Killigan's. Then we did what we should have done in the first place. We ordered this product: Dr. Killigan's Premium Pantry Moth Traps With Pheromone Attractant | Safe, Non-Toxic with No Insecticides (6, Black Traps) With Dr. Killigan's our experience was as soon as we opened the box and pulled the protective covering off the trap, we were moth magnets once again. If you find this review helpful please click the Yes button below and Thank You. Update: August 2023 - We still have NOT seen one moth after all this time. We bought, dependent on the size of out living space - three 6 packs of this product: Dr. Killigan's Premium Pantry Moth Traps With Pheromone Attractant | Safe, Non-Toxic with No Insecticides (6, Black Traps) used them and I wrote my review above about the success. I just wanted to let everyone know that we're still moth-free, we still have birds and we couldn't be happier with Dr. Killigan's products. I also see that this product is now available as a Subscribe & Save item. That's a great thing. Ila in Maine

They work! Don't mess around with imitations!
These work! After the first day we had moths in them compared to other brands. Super sticky, easy to deploy and well made. Definitely a good value compared to the ones you buy in the big box stores. We find you do need to replace them after 90 days as the package advertises. The technique of putting a few in a room seems to be most effective.

Started working the minute I put them out
Working immediately! I literally just got them today and as I was taking the first one out of the package the moths started coming out. After I got it put together one immediately flew in and then others followed. I put 3 traps out in a triangle for maximum coverage. We recently got a bag of dry cat food that was infested with moth larvae and didn’t know it until the food had been out for a week and a half in a drop feeder while we were out of town. We’ve never had this happen in all of the years we’ve been pet parents (39 or so). You can bet we will be examining every bag of dry food we get from now on. No idea how many moths we will be seeing and I’m freaked out about it. But glad to see these are already working. I did get a full refund from Amazon on the cat food. It was a 40lb bag so at least there’s that to be thankful for.

Works great, traps many moths
I have ordered this product several times and am always satisfied. The first year when the moth infestation was bad it trapped quite a few. I have continued to use this product year after year and found that there a fewer moths. I keep them in the kitchen year round and they are doing the trick!
