Graphic Design for Beginners: Fundamental Graphic Design Principles that Underlie Every Design Project (Be Your Own Designer)

As a bit of useful information for people new to design. Would have given it higher rating, but my copy came all bent and out of shape. Looks like something you would find in a used bookstore.

This book has some valuable information. It's an easy, fast read; it gets to the heart of things in a fast and easy way. Buy this book...you won't be disappointed.

This book was a good place to start for someone just learning about graphic design. Most of the info. is kind of common sense but it's good to see it and have it all in one place and kind of define the basic rules of the game. The many color pictures were clear and helpful. The physical book itself was cheaply made with typos and mistakes that seem kind of embarassing for a book about graphic design (for example the quotation marks are in the wrong spot and the letter 'q" is replaced with a question mark box). The last two pages of the book were too large and didn't fit in the book properly.
