These are super compact and light, easy to handle or hang. You can adjust how much light you want by lifting the cylinder- gives off a great amount for such a tiny, easy to store lantern. Got these for my entire family- Girl Scouts taught me to always be prepared!! Theu did come in very handy during our last 2 major snowstorms!

Ok for inside a tent, less so for wandering around outside in the dark. Obnoxiously white when full opened but the way the light slides into the base makes adjusting the brightness easy. Main thing is that these are made of plastic painted to look like metal. The claim that these are military grade is absolute nonsense.

Excellent Product! People...get this product! I was totally shocked at how very well put together this product is. Even more surprised at the volume of light coverage it provides. I was like "no waaaaay"! Lol I took one of the lanterns from room to room. One lantern, literally lit up my entire bathroom, laundry room and closets. I was totally shocked! It's very easy to use and is extremely useful. It's made out of quality hard plastic. The color is nice. The weight is perfect. It takes 3 AA batteries. And the battery life depends on your usage. It's the type of product that you'll only want to use it when you need it, or for a quick use. It's very easy to use. The opening and closure mechanism is precision. I ordered the 4 pack in gray, and they're nice looking. I'm placing another order in a different color. This is definitely a keeper. Most definitely a keeper!

These are so cool!! Bought when temps were plummeting and forecast was for ice storm and possible power outages. Great price and they give off a lot of light. Love the handles which makes them easy to carry if needed.

These are way smaller than I thought they were going to be, but they're plenty bright. You just pop batteries in and pull them open and the light turns on. They do have a plastic and lightweight feel so I doubt that they're very durable. I bought these to use during power outages which are common in my area, so I can't attest to whether these will be waterproof or water resistant. These were 20 to 25 bucks when I ordered them, so about $5 to $7 per light. This seems like a reasonable value and the fact that I have four means that I have some redundancy in case one of them does fail. Update: My power went out and I got the opportunity to use these lanterns for about 2 hours. I'm still perfectly happy with them. I used the standard Amazon AA batteries and saw no dimming and experienced no issues with the lights. The lanterns were bright enough that I only needed one.

Adorable lanterns that work great.....adjustable light and easy to use...great for when the power goes out as well as for camping or just backyard parties....great buy !
