It took us awhile to replace our older similar rod that had collapsed, mainly due to wanting the measurements to match. The straight rod piece of this product was too long yet dh cut it easily with a hand saw. Due to nature of aluminum, go slowly to not dent rod. We also shortened the ceiling support rod which was easy. Installation was not bad for us. Although it's lightweight, it's sturdy enough. But due to needing extra long liner and curtain for this vintage bath, I've chosen ones that are lightweight to not stress the rod. This rod system was also the best price (and right color) i found after spending hours searching Wayfair, AMZ, WM and more.

This set comes with everything you need to mount it. It does need two people for installation thanks to its length. The bar itself is lovely, came in very good condition, is adjustable along the longer side, but not so much on the shorter one. Which did cause me a bit of trouble, since my husband prefers a tad bit more space in his shower. I found a somewhat matching golden bar somewhere else and added a ten inch section on a bit to make the curtained area wider. (It would have been fine with the original for most people. Just make sure the described sizing is what you want.) The bar is solid and comes with good quality mounts. This are screwed into the wall (screws and all accessories are included), which I also replaced with slightly heavier screws, since included ones always tend to the 'too short' side. But the mounts are nice and very solid. To make sure everything doesn't collapse, it comes with the ceiling brace and mount. This is also in a very good quality, is adjusted by cutting off one end of the bar (the end without the threading), and isn't difficult to install. Just some drilling and screwing again (and again, I used different ones then the ones included.) I'm happy with it. Just wished the smaller side was also adjustable, but as long as a person is happy with the sizing in the product description, all's well. It's definitely a nice shower curtain rod.

Sturdiness : sufficient Tube a bit thinner than one would expect based on rather substantial wall plates And I'd have hoped a bit thicker tube & I'd like a bit more secure ceiling post (well actually I'd love to have one w/o need post .... but that's another 'dream' and not what I bought) . Stretch (odd term): sufficient It has plenty of length to work with .... wish width (back wall to front) was a couple of inches longer (now 29) but it's fine Ease of install: easy if you have the tools and can drill tile if needed (I can) THIS DOES REQUIRE DRILLING

It is straightforward to install, requiring less than half an hour, and boasts a stylish appearance. It is about 5 inches higher on the walls than the one it replaced, but now my shower curtains are hanging inside of the tub, instead of the ends laying at the bottom.

Worked perfectly. High quality and cheaper than competitors.

The ceiling support rod included is for homes with standard ceilings. My apartment has high ceilings, and the ceiling support rod was so short, that I had to step on a ladder to slide the curtains. Otherwise they are fine.

The shower curtain rod is functional and size and length was more than I needed. I did have to cut one of the rods but nothing major. The build quality is there and there hasn’t been any rust on any of the parts in the six months that I have been using this product. I would buy it again.

This rod is perfect for my bathroom. I had to cut it shorter to fit my smaller tub, but it’s a sold metal and will last very well.

Fácil de instalar. Me hubiera gustado que la barra vertical de soporte fuera más larga, al menos de unos 60 cm. Fuera de este detalle me agradó el producto.
