A fantastic book!
Absolutely loved this book! I bought this in preparation for taking my children on holiday to Rome. They were fascinated and it really helped that the book is brilliantly illustrated, whilst providing information in a way that is engaging and accessible to children.

Great book, a good mix of facts and pictures and pitched at just the right level. Bought the Egyptian book too and it's just as good.

Pathetic Interpretation
I think the Italian readers may have an issue with your illustrations. Why you feel the need to misrepresent the era is beyond me.

We love this series
Weโve read two of these books and about to start our third. Really great series with a good balance of humour, information and pace. As for all the one star reviews whose only complaint seems to be that the characters are black, they seem to fail to appreciate the artistic style. You could equally say the romans did not have perfectly spherical heads!
