I've used this antenna extension to bring in far away FM and Short Wave stations. I've tried it on a couple of different radio's and it works great. Good value for the money and fast shipping. You should buy one to clip to your own radio's antenna especially in case of emergency. Oh, and my truck has a vertical rod type antenna and when I'm parked somewhere, I can clip this antenna extension to bring in extra AM or FM stations. It works! It's easy and fast to reel back into it's portable case with just a finger. I sincerely recommend it.
