My only issue is the cord really isn't that handy. It is stiff and allows a minimum of movement, and only allows you maybe 10" of range for setting the light receiver away from the unit. You could forcibly stretch it 2 feet or so, but it retracts right back, and pulling it hard enough to stretch it that far makes it feel like you are going to pull the cord out of the receiver or the meter itself. Other than that it does work well and have enough light range for anything I do with it.
