lathe tool for ball turning metal/wood
As shipped the device will not cut 1/2 inch ball size. Will have to regrind the cutter then maybe get 1/2 size. It is listed as a small ball cutter. I should have asked what is the largest size it will cut. The device it self is well made

Nice LITTLE radius cutter
It was smaller than I expected but it done what I needed it to. It is built well and made very nice cuts. I knocked off a star because it seemed to be assembled backwards. According to the paperwork that came with it, the set screw that holds the cutting tool in place, is supposed to be underneath the tool but it was on top. It is hard to explain but the cutting tool had to stick out a minimum distance so the set screw would have enough contact with it to hold it. I needed to cut the largest radius possible so I simply turned the cutting tool upside down and ran the lathe in reverse to do what I needed to.
