But it's so much quieter than my old one thanks to that size. The weight of this thing when it's clamped down to the motherboard is alarming. But that back plate holds it all together. Old style 4 pin header has the rainbow cycle going which I saw some people were wondering about. There are two different plugs, you just don't use the other. Build quality is great. They also include a second set of the metal brackets so you can install a second fan on the back if you want. AND there was thermal paste included. If you can fit this style of cooler in your machine, you can't beat this deal. My old one was constantly going full blast trying to keep my old Phenom from exploding. Now it's no louder than the rest of the fans in the case.
