The Monks got it right!!  There are three jellies/jams/marmalades that I adore. And they’re all made by Trappist Monks. The apricot is chunky and has the exact tang of the fruit they’re made of. Not sweet. It has a sophisticated taste...not for peanut butter and jelly.Their quince jelly is deliciously floral. Most people have never tasted it and they are truly missing out. It’s great for breakfast on a scone/toast/English muffin.Sadly, my favorite Trappist product Seville Orange marmalade is no longer being made. Apparently, their source in Spain has disappeared. This marmalade has an intense bitter orange fruitiness that’s impossible to describe and impossible to forget. I will sorely miss it.
