Claudia's Cocina: A Taste of Mexico from the Winner of MasterChef Season 6 on FOX

I live in Southern California, where we are really spoiled with great, authentic Mexican food on practically every corner. But we also have, no surprise, plenty of Mexican-American friends, neighbors and coworkers, and I love the fact that the delicious foods I've come to love in their company are also included in this cookbook: the delicious everyday foods my friends make in their kitchens when we visit or which they bring to a potluck or school party. Claudia includes plenty of interesting, complex, flavorful recipes representative of the parts of Mexico from which her family hails, but she also includes refried beans, rice, tres leches cake, tamales, guacamole...you get the idea. So far everything has been delicious.

I felt so proud to see a Latina woman win Masterchef with recipes I grew up eating. It made me want to get up and start learning. There’s so much to see inside this book, her recipes are easy to follow, and everyone from all parts of the world should try Mexican recipes

This is one of my favorite cookbooks. I originally checked it out from the library and loved it so much I bought it right away. The recipes are approachable and tasty! I find myself using this book at least once a week (and mind you I have over 40 cookbooks). It’s a must buy for anyone trying to master Mexican basics and some more adventurous dishes too!

This is an excellent cookbook! The recipes are easy to follow and Claudia always gives us an interesting anecdote to go along with each one. The food is amazingly delicious. I highly recommend this cookbook for anyone who loves Mexican cuisine or wants to learn how to make some delicious and very flavorful food. Thank you, Chef Claudia!

I love this cookbook and the authentic tastes that come out of it. Most ingredients are easy to find, make, and even easy to modify to be kid friendly if not already. I gave it 4 instead of 5 stars, because even though I love the design of the book with photos, etc, i would have liked to see 1 page per recipe. Most do that, but some have a whole page just for notes about something - just a personal preference maybe. Overall, great buy! I would gift this to someone now that I love mine so much!

I am amazed that Claudia would so generously share her winning recipes ~ exactly what she did on Masterchef. The most memorable ones are all in this easy-to-use cookbook. Such good food and flavors. I'm new to Mexican cooking, so I'm learning a lot from this collection of special recipes. I highly recommend!

Looking through the book, there are some great recipes. I can't wait to start cooking my way through the book.

My husband and I are huge MasterChef fans. We are both from Latino descent so of course we had to support Claudia :) The recipes are authentic, the pages are beautiful, and Claudia is overall just so inspirational and talented.

It's a good cookbook for those who like Mexican dishes, I tried a few recipes so far and they came out great.

We are a bit obsessed with cook books and loved Claudia on masterchef. The recipes are fantastic.
