This Butterfly table tennis paddle offers a superior quality soft and springy rubber, inverted red Spryer 1.7 mm rubber on one side, that offers a good balance of speed and spin with emphasis on control to help you beat your opponent. The back is painted black for International Table Tennis Federation - ITTF tournament approval. This ping pong racket features a chinese style grip with a shorter handle than most rackets. The grip style is a penhold grip that is held like you would write with a pen. There is a half inch gap between the top of the grip and the rubber adding comfort. Review: Good penhold blade. Poor rubber. - This is a normal ply penhold blade. There is only one rubber and other side is lacquered. The rubber is poor. If you want to use the blade scrap off the rubber and put your own rubber. To use RPB you can put a rubber on the backhand side by sanding the lacquer.
