Every time I changed the dressing it irritated and pulled off the top layer of my skin. Not fun. This silicone tape has been a huge improvement. It seals much better than the paper tape, but the big thing is how gentle it is when removing it. No more dreading dressing changes. It’s also repositionable, which I didn’t realize I needed until I had it. If you don’t get it quite right the first time, you can adjust it without ruining the tape. The perforation at 1 inch intervals is another nice touch, makes it easy to tear off what you need without scissors. After using this twice, I tossed the remaining rolls of paper tape and ordered more of this.
