Airfix A02702V WWII German Infantry Vintage Classics Kit (1:32 Scale)

Bought these on a whim. I had these in the early 70s as a kid. But they where grey plastic then . The blue hard plastic is probably better for painting, well I hope so as I will attempt to do so. Also I miss the 28 figure boxs, why only 14 now?

Good. And well worth the price.

Bought these to convert some of the more usable figures into pilots for the 1/72 scale WW2 Airfix/Revell planes that I have taken to modelling. I got into it during lockdown as a distraction and seem to have just carried on. Quite Childish really !! These figures are not moulded with the same detail accuracy as I recall from my childhood days, and the plastic used seem much more soft and waxy, but they will do the job I guess. That waxy quality seems to make it more difficult for paint adhesion too, but it’s not a deal breaker. NOT AMAZING QUALITY…..BUT PERFECTLY ADEQUATE.

Just what I remember from my childhood. The classic airfix box is wonderful. The figures need cleaning up a bit before painting but that’s part of the charm of a classic set.

too many doubles

I am a life long Airfix Fan and also a Table-Top War Gamer, i needed some German Infantry to even things up on the table so i bought these very nostalgic WW2 German Infantry in 1/32 Scale, i was surprised and very happy to see they are in their original dark blue moulded finish (just like back in the day!), there are 14 of the usual suspects- standing and squatting and running riflemen, sub machine gunners, grenade throwers and my personal favourites the machine gunner and his ammo box holding assistant and of course the Luger toting, cap wearing Officer, the box art is beautiful and i think i'll invest in a 1/76 set aswell- all great fun!!! Delivered next day in great condition.

Great quality, excellent detail - perfect for Stop Motion due to various configurations

When I bought these I didn't notice that they were 1:76 scale rather than the old traditional 1:72. Not much of a difference you would think but they seem a lot smaller than that. Otherwise very like I remember though maybe not as high quality plastic

Came in perfect shape and looks awsome

decent quality and quantity
