Yes for bathroom storage
I just assembled and placed this shelf in our bathroom, to be used to store towels, toilet paper, cleaners, etc. It was easy to assemble and is sturdy. The shipment came with ties to secure the shelf to wall, if needed. I am not using the ties. I am pleased at the quality and excited to organize! The price was great (Amazon sale price). I would definitely order more if I have more space to organize! I also purchased separately shelf liners made for this shelf to make it easier to store and slide items in, and for easy cleaning. Win!

Love it!
Omg its such a nice shelf! Very sturdy easy to assemble just took about 15 minutes to put together if that it’s nice and strong like the flimsy ones, I’ve seen before very roomy and holding my appliances nicely. I opted not to put my microwave on it because now I have counter space for it and since it’s a convection oven and fryer, I didn’t want to take the chance of it getting ruined when using the convection or the fryer or my food getting ruined but it’s a perfect addition if you don’t have enough cabinet space and need someplace to put your food your appliances or just junk. It’s a definite yes oh forgot to mention instructions are easy , an idiot proof. forgot to mention it comes with a warranty that will replace any damage parts for I believe it would said two years. Hopefully I won’t need them since I just got it but it’s a definite if you don’t have cabinet space and you need extra storage or even to put in the closet and you can even space the shelves anywhere you want at any time they’re really easy to move around. Doesn’t wobble holds so much and actually looks very nice and great quality! Had to add i ordered the gorilla grip shelf liners and Omg make such a great difference now the shelves look complete and nothing can fall through they fit perfectly and cleaning so easy. Just the finishing touch it needed!

The Secret to Life: Shelves, These Shelves (Also included: Instructions for Going it Alone)
TL;DR: Buy these shelves. It's super easy to put them together and oh, the space you will have. The Elle-aboration: I'm a small female living in a small apartment with NO storage. It's been driving me nuts, so I finally took the plunge and ordered three sets of these shelves - two for my walk-in closet that I finally reclaimed from my cats and one for my pantry. I was worried about the weight of the shelves - how to get them up the stairs, how to unpack them. I was worried about doing this alone. If those are your concerns, worry no more. Here's why: 1. Yeah, the boxes themselves are 30ish pounds. Thankfully, UPS delivered them to my door, but even if they hadn't, I could have cut the boxes open and carried them up the stairs in a few trips. Do not let size/weight of these puppies deter you. Although I'm a little scrappy, I'm also a 5'2" female, well over 40, and wear a size 4ish, and if I can do it, you can do it. 2. The shelves are super easy to assemble and lift. Even doing it by yourself. Even if you're on the smaller side and unhulky. Even if you're afraid of using wrenches and totally confused by lefty-loosey, righty-tighty (because eventually everything goes left and everything goes right so really...?). Even if you watch the videos and wonder if you can do that. You can. DO NOT FEAR THESE SHELVES. There are some tricks I'll share for how I did it in 10 minutes, first time out of the gate (or box, actually). The trick is to stay organized and begin on a waist-high horizontal surface. Not the floor. Here are the steps I followed that made it super easy: 1. Unwrap and keep your bottom rods and top rods separate, just to stay organized. You'll receive 8 rods (4 top, 4 bottom). The bottom rods are where you put the feet or rollers, and there's a small hole where both will fit. You'll know it when you see it because the pieces are well-organized by the manufacturer. (Thanks, Seville!) 2. Put the feet or the rollers into the bottom rods. I didn't even have to use the little wrench thing, but it's super easy to use, too. Put the round plugs into the top rods. Once you do that, you'll notice that both have holes with threads in them. That's where you're going to put the screws that hold them together, but don't do that yet and keep them separate. 3. Decide where you want your lowest shelf to go and then take two of the black clamps that stabilize the shelves, make sure the arrow and "TOP" marked on each clamp are facing up, and clip them at the same time onto the rod. You'll notice there's a little line on the plastic pieces, and then there's the line on the rod. When the line on the plastic pieces line up to the line on the rod, they will click with each other. You may have to move them until you hear them click onto the rod. The first time you hear the click will be bliss because you'll know you've got this! 4. Put that first bottom rod onto a horizontal surface, and then take your next rod, find the identical line, and place another set of clamps. If you work on a horizontal surface with the rods lying down, it's so much easier than counting lines and spaces. You can just line them up side-by-side, so much easier, and no crawling around on the floor. 5. Put the clamps on the remaining two bottom rods, again working on a horizontal surface. When you finish, you can line the four bottom rods up side-by-side and (check) enjoy the symmetry of your excellent work. 6. Take your first shelf (make sure you have it facing the right way), turn it sideways (as in put one of the long narrow sides of the shelf) onto the same horizontal surface, and slide the rods through that way. No lifting, no holding it up, no balancing on the short end. Take the easy way out. Once you slide all four rods though, you can set your shelf on the floor to feel good about yourself, but don't. 7. Keep the shelf on its side with the four rods sticking out and place your second set of clamps onto each rod. It's much easier than trying to do it while the shelf is standing, and you can line them up visually. 8. Slide the next shelf on the same way. Check to make sure that the two shelves are level (they are), and then once you have the two shelves in place, you can stand the whole thing on the floor, push the shelves down firmly, and finish the job. 9. The third shelf is the trickiest because you have to decide if you want it on the bottom rod or on the top rod. The only reason this matters is because if you want it below the second rod, you'll put the clamps and shelf on before you screw the two rods together so that you're not trying to shimmy it all the way down. (I put my third shelf on first). 10. Next, you have to screw the rods together. I was worried about messing up the threads because of one of the videos, but don't be. Just take your time. Put the threaded metal piece into the bottom rod, screw it in, and then screw in the top rods. All four rods will be securely in place and ready for the remaining shelves. 11. All you have left to do is put your black clamps on and slide the rest of the shelves into place. You'll be working at eye level, so it's easy to line them up visually, the shelves aren't heavy, and it's maybe two minutes from this point. I found it very easy to do this way, maybe 10 minutes total?, and I know I'd have gotten frustrated crawling around on the floor and/or trying to do it vertically at the beginning. Counting the rungs and visually lining them up from above, no thanks. Ditto with shimmying them down the rods. Just no. (Editing to add: I did try one on the floor just to see, and no, no, just no.) Also, a couple of other things if you live in earthquake country like I do: I put my bottom shelf at the very lowest rung and plan to place heavy items at the bottom and a wedge underneath to keep it from tipping. I put my top shelf about four rungs down so that I can use it to place things and I can secure those things with an outer strap. Then I can use earthquake straps to secure the top of the rods to the wall. IDK if these instructions will help anyone, but I wish I'd known how really easy this was. All the videos I watched made me a little wary. Several said that it's easier with two people, someone actually screwed up the threading on the rods, someone else got their clamps misaligned, etc, and all that made me dread the undertaking. As soon as I started, I realized that waist-height horizontal surface and organization were the keys to fast success, and so I had to share in case it helps someone else.

Great wire rack
I use this in my laundry room without the wheels for holding cleaning supplies. Sturdy thing that was easy to put together.

Hefty shelf, wimpy wheels - still terrific
As other reviews warn, the wheels on this terrific rack really don't measure up, nor are they easy to replace - the stem on the casters that fits into the poles has a 1/4-20 stem, a fitting I searched high and low for on a sturdy wheel. Not a lot of options, but there is an Oajen heavy duty caster available here on Amazon that I plan to buy when these wheels inevitably fail - they should increase the load capacity by about 200 pounds in my estimate. Still, I'm happy to spend 20 bucks to pimp my shelf when it's so sturdy and such a great value. The included paperwork says each shelf can hold 200 pounds, which is 1000 pounds total! I don't plan to test the half-ton rating on this thing like it's a Ford F-150, but it sure feels like it's built Ford tough. I think other reviewers are misreading the instruction not to move the shelf when loaded - seems to me these are standard directions included with all their shelf products, and that warning applies to shelves with feet. The wheels aren't a big problem for me yet since I'm only rolling it back and forth, but definitely don't plan on long trips or rugged terrain with these. I'm using my shelf as a pantry closet, and I couldn't be happier with this application. It fits perfectly alongside my standard-depth fridge with a wall on the other side, and the shelves are the perfect size to hold tons of pantry items. 5 boxes of penne, 4 cans of soup, 3 soda bottles, 2 six-packs, and a case of drinking water - all examples of things that fit in a neat little perfectly visible row across these shelves. The rack slides in and out of its nook for easy access to all items (although the sliding will be a little better with a wheel upgrade.) My kitchen has never been this organized, and I will never again empty 4 cabinets to find all the ingredients for a pot of chili. I considered installing some of the shelves upside down for the little lip to keep stuff in place while rolling, but don't do it. The fittings fit perfectly into the shelves as is, and they are not reversible. The heavier wire around the outside edge does provide the tiniest little bumper that seems to keep everything on board for now. I do recommend Warps plastomat shelf liner in the 24x10 foot roll available on Amazon or at BB&B. You need to take time to cut out a mat for each shelf lengthwise (cut off the corners too!), but there's enough to line 4 of the five shelves, and the leftover width, a 10.5 x10 roll, is going in my top kitchen cabinets. This helps keep small items and possible spills from slipping through, and I think will make it easier to clean and keep dust free. It lays flat and is both sturdy and easy to cut. All in all, this rack is one of my best purchases in a long time, and I'm a Prime junky. Buy this shelf.

You Can't Beat It For This Price
For $60, this can't be beat, it's very well designed. I've constructed similar shelves, so I didn't really need the instructions, but I did notice that they were very clear. You'd pretty much have to be an idiot not to be able to figure out how to assemble these shelves. But there are some definite tips and tricks you might want to know beforehand. First off, constructing any kind of metal shelf isn't good for your wood or nice tile floor, unless you don't care if they accidentally get a scratch. Not to say that it will happen, but sometimes it does. So you'll want to have a space to build this that has some thin carpet, or a floor you don't care about. For tools, an adjustable wrench will come in handy for tightening the nuts that attach the castor wheels. The shelf comes with one, but it's pretty flimsy and sort of a pain to use. A rubber mallet is also useful if you decide (as I did) to change the shelf heights halfway through and end up having to take a few apart and put them back on. Certainly beats banging them apart with your hands. It's a pretty standard wire shelf, it's got black plastic clips that go around the upright poles, and the shelves slide down over them. They conveniently marked each plastic clip with the word 'top' and an arrow, and the upright poles have the usual inch markers as well as some periodic double-line markers so you don't have to do all that counting to make sure your clips are even on all four sides. Like I said, super easy to put together. They recommend having two people for the 5-tier shelf, but I did it myself (and I'm a binky little girl fyi) without any problems. The only place I could see the benefit of a second person was when I was undoing some of the shelves to adjust the height. If you bang up one side to unhook it from the clip, it's helpful to have someone to hold it there while you go to bang up the other side, otherwise it falls back down and wedges itself fast again. I wasn't expecting this to be commercial grade, and it isn't, but I was pleased at how sturdy it was for the super low price. (These shelves can be several hundred dollars). The only really cheap part of the shelf were the plastic wheels, the locks are a joke (I actually pushed this thing into place down a hallway with the wheels locked and didn't know until I got there) but that might be because the shelf itself is pretty light. I know the weight allowance says 200 lb. a shelf, with 1000 lb. for the whole thing, but I highly doubt those wheels are going to take being rolled around with that much weight on them. I'd guess that you could store 100 lb. or maybe 150 lb. on each shelf, any more than that and you'd run the risk of it bowing under the weight over time. And, considering the cheap plastic wheels, I probably wouldn't use it if my intent were to roll it all over the place. For my own home purposes it's great, a sturdy, cheap wire shelf, that's easy to get behind when I want to clean.

Great shelves plus tip for one-person assembly
Love these shelves. We've had several of the larger ones for years and they're practically perfect-easy to assemble, adjustable and very sturdy. I got this smaller one for my seedlings. The open wire shelves allow me to suspend the grow lights and it's easy to move a shelf up or down without disassembling the entire unit. I hung a 48" wide mylar space blanket on the back to reflect the light. I attached it to the front of the top shelf (positioned at the very top) with binder clips, over the top and down the back. It drapes over the top down the sides a bit and wraps partway around both sides from the back. On sunny days I leave the front open but on cloudy days and after sunset I clip another blanket on the front and around the sides to keep the light in. It's not completely light-tight but as I'm growing veggies, light leaks are not a concern to me. The plants like this setup. One advantage is the mylar helps retain the heat for the seedlings when the house is cooler. A few tips for ease of assembly for one person: Don't put the top of the pole on right away. Place the black shelf sleeves on the bottom poles where you want the bottom shelf, remembering the shelf will sit a bit higher. Slide the poles through the holes in the shelf coming up from the bottom. Laying the shelf on its long side will help with this. Snug it up a bit then stand it on the poles and tap the shelf into place. You can use a rubber mallet but I do well with the heel of my hand-just go around to each corner and tap a little, don't get one on all the way at first, go uniformly around at each corner. You don't have to beat it to death-there will be plenty of tension to hold it in place and if it's not on too tight it's easier to adjust as your needs change. Now add the rest of the shelves you want on the bottom half of the unit, this time adding them from the top down, then screw on the top half of the poles and finish up with the rest of the shelves. When adding the casters I put the locking ones diagonally across so no matter which side is against the wall I always have a locking caster in reach.

Strong and Sturdy Utility Stand
I love these utility stands. You can decide where you want to place each shelf, it strolls along nicely when empty, but I did find that it doesn't want to move very well when it's heavily weighted down; still no signs of weakness in its construction. I used one of mine for food in the pantry closet and toiletry items. The second one I used to store cleaning cloths, and laundry goods and it looks great in the laundry room and is easily moveable unlike a shelf that sticks out on the wall and when you bend over, the old noggin' gets bumped. This stand allows me to store so much and it doesn't even look messy to see it as it's well organized. The shelves only go on one way, so there's no lip to keep things from falling off, but you've got so much space for putting things on, I don't think anyone would be considering that as a means for not buying. You're really getting quality in this metal stand and it's so easy to assemble. I'm considering putting another one in my clothes closet or for my art supplies; maybe I'll buy two more later for these reasons. We have moved into a larger house, but there's not enough shelving space in it, so I'm having to find another means to accommodate our needs and these utility stands are awesome.

Nice and solid
You have to count how many segments you want between the shelves and can be quite overbearing at first but once assembled is a solid shelf

Great sturdy shelf system
Bought this to help tame the indoor storage area. I was able to put this together in around 30 minutes, taking my time. Read the instructions once and never had to refer back…simple! The storage itself feels secure and sturdy. I used the castor option, and it rolls easily over hardwood/ceramic. The shelves are wire, so smaller items won’t necessarily sit level, but it would be easy to install something to avoid that. 5 stars all day long…!
