Werkseitig war das Fahrzeug mit NGK-Zündkerzen ausgeliefert (ebenfalls ein japanischer Hersteller), sodass ich bei der Suche nach den Zündkerzen zwischen NGK und Denso entscheiden musste. Meine Wahl fiel auf diese Zündkerzen von Denso, weil sie etwas günstiger als NGK waren. Als ich die Zündkerzen erhalten habe, war ich in jeder Hinsicht positiv überrascht - man merkte sofort, dass man ein Qualitätsprodukt in der Hand hält: Sowohl die Zündkerzen selbst als auch die Verpackung sind sehr hochwertig, eben "Made in Japan". Selbstverständlich passten die Zündkerzen perfekt und verrichten nun absolut unauffällig und klaglos ihren Dienst. Übrigens, die Zündspulen des Prius 2 kommen ebenfalls von Denso (zumindest bei meinem Fahrzeug).
