Caught many fakes with the blue light. Only thing is that it should be chargeable or have longer lasting battery life

I have been looking for a reasonably priced, super bright flashlight for far longer than something so simple should take. There are so many claims that, after a little deeper search and a quick read of the reviews, turn out to be false and the disappointment is apparent. I’m so happy with this purchase and my frustrating hunt has finally ended. At nearly twice as bright as my (former) favorite J5 flashlight, this has definitely exceeded my expectations. Add to that the horrifying scene the black light revealed and the adamant finger pointing between my two cats and dramatic displays of “Not it!” innocence, what more could you want? Cosoos apparently thought about that as well and has taken it a step further by sending a convenient canvase carry case that you can loop on your belt or bag or figure out a place out of the way but within reach in your car. Or use it to carry something else entirely. The only thing I compromised on was getting a flashlight that used those big 18650 3.7v batteries. It does come with the adapter to use three AAA batteries, but the charger I have for the 3.7v only charges one battery at a time so I would always have to keep a few AAA batteries ready to go, which is how I have them anyway, so, no problem. Just when I thought I was all happy and turning off all the lights just so I could use my new flashlight, Cosoos sends me an email to follow up and make sure everything was fine with my order. They have really outdone themselves and now to add excellent customer service on top of it all, I am thoroughly impressed. Far too many companies are so quick to settle for “good enough” and those that go the extra mile are becoming more rare. Now, that email did say that they would send me 2 of those 3.7v batteries, but I really think that would be over the top of the top or adding a 20 foot antenna to make the top just that much higher. I would not turn them away if they did send them since I have noticed they work slightly better than using the 3 AAA batteries, but seriously? How about you guys save a couple bucks on the packing materials and shipping costs and just add them to my next order? I am totally buying a second one of these flashlights. I will also be looking into other products this company produces and will make Cosoos my go-to for whatever they have that I need. I very seriously doubt you will find a better deal on such a stellar product at such a low price, and it just keeps getting better. Just buy it. You’re welcome.

Ordered two of these for gifts, arrived in generic white boxes with no user info at all, one was crushed because they were sent in an envelope. Not too happy as Amazon says they are not eligible for return. Flashlight itself is ok, but description (to the left of the main photo) says it comes with a 18650 rechargeable battery and it does not. I liked the idea of it being a 2-in-1 led/uv, but I think there are others out there to try. Takes 3-AAA batteries or one rechargeable 18650 (not included). The uv is not that much brighter than a little one-AA uv light I have already. Doubt I'll be using them as gifts after all, but you can never have too many flashlights I suppose. Updating my original review from two stars to four due to the excellent customer service. Flashlight does very well with the 18650 battery. Am happier with the flashlight now that I have tried the stronger battery.

I have 2 resident cats (and a stray who visits occasionally). For months i've been going downstairs and smelling cat pee, but couldn't figure out where it was. Looked (and sniffed) just about everywhere with no luck - silly me, completely forgot i got the Cosoos flashlight earlier this year. Last night i remembered where it was stored, turned off all lights in the house and began exploring using the high UV function. My nose definitely needs adjustment, because a big, glowing stain suddenly appeared on the landing carpet, and all this time i was looking in other rooms. Not sure i really need both High and Low flashlight or UV modes, but i'll take it. Awesome product, now if only it would help me find the guilty party ;) 2/16/21 Still works as flashlight, blue light doesn't turn on, in spite of very light use (just a few times a year). Bummer.

It's small and works for the price. Sturdy metal build. Just not very practical to use as it switches modes every time u turn it off. And the the way to switch moves is by turning it off. There is no other way to cycle. So if I want to use for a glow funko pop and turn it off, I have to go on and off and on and off and on again to get to the same UV mode for the next shine.
