BIG Savings for a little work!!
This was the perfect fix -- my old mini remote/key ended up losing the lock button, so being able to just get this case with the three buttons worked perfectly. I was skeptical, but once it came in a day, I found it to be exactly as represented, and even had the little "mini wings" which didn't show in the post. This one was easy to open, but getting the factory case to open was a little challenging, but with some patience and tenacity, it finally opened, and was an easy process to swap and put the new case together! The mini dealer quoted about $200 to get a replacement.

Not easy to take apart at all
It was super hard to get open and into also, it doesnโt just fit right over the old electrical part at all! You would literally have to take these little tiny electronic parts out, and I have no idea where you would even stick them. Not easy to use at all.

Its solid and sturdy plastic.
It works. Just swap your old fobs circuit board and youโre good to go.

Mostly fine ish, metal key does not latch well
The good: Good plastic Fits the board Button works Silver ring easy to install A great way to fix up mini fob with failing buttons, or a failing battery (a new battery needs to be soldered but that's not too hard). The bad: Why, why was this shipped in one piece rather than two pieces. Figuring out how to pop open the shell was annoying and also completely unnecessary. The mechanism that holds the actual metal door key in the fob doesn't work. Mine is kinda friction fit holding in, but the button latch does absolutely nothing. It isn't worth returning, but it isn't great. Getting a new working shell after cutting open the original to replace the battery/dead buttons without paying 250$+ at the dealer is awesome. Quality is less awesome. Having the key fall out when pulling out of ignition is not awesome. Happy to update the review if they send out a fully functional version.

Perfect Fit
The case fit the housing for my mini fob perfectly. Easy to insert mechanism and the fob worked perfectly in the car ignition.

Fit's Nicely into FOB receiver - Printed Circuit fits nicely
FOB fit's nicely and has a dust shield unlike factory original underneath the keys. Very pleased with ease of installation. Just be careful when removing printed circuit as it's easy to damage switches.

Outer chrome Ring is missing
It's totally good product and has all thing as shown in the image loved the product and had a great experience
