Solid and sturdy, once built. No issues with assembly: all the pieces fit snug and snapped together or were appropriately lined up for screws, where applicable. It did take about 30-45 minutes to assemble, but that makes sense given how sturdy it is. Finished product looks great and provides a good amount of extra storage space. We are very pleases with our purchase, especially at the price that waa offered on Amazon vs. similar products from the big box stores.

Put this on my front porch and LOVE it! It holds so much and was so easy to assemble. I added pillows to sit on making it stylish and comfortable. The color goes beautifully with my house, and it holds a lot of weight. Defiantly recommend!

Product Assembly: Assembly will take between 30-45 minutes. The instructions were very clear. I turned on some Johnny Taylor, read the instructions carefully and had it together under 40 minutes. No issues with Assembly on my end. Product Look: 5 Stars. Nice looking bench. Storage: Do not store bricks in this thing as the base is more of a very hard cardboard like box material. Patio Cushions and other items not too heavy are ideal. I bought it to possibly store extra sodas/ grocery type items. I buy sodas in bulk. I’m thinking the weight won’t be an issue but I’ll find out. The storage space is nice. When you don’t have a garage, you have to be creative for storage needs. Sturdiness: I bought this specific sitting bench as I know my heavy roommate will sit on anything to smoke his cigarettes. It says it holds 600 pounds of weight so I’m assuming 300 pounds on each side. My roommate exactly 300 pounds. It feels sturdy as I sat on it. I’m 135 pounds though. I do feel a little iffy on the sides though. I can’t get the left side to completely close. There’s a small but noticeable gap which bothers me like crazy. Maybe weight will eventually get it in order. We will see. Overall: Happy with it so far. Looks nice. 4 stars because of the nervousness with the complete trust of the sturdiness and the one side not completely closing straight. Minor gap but noticeable.

I am so happy with this storage bench. First of all, the color is fantastic. It matches the dark wooden beams in our house and fits with the decor in the living room. It does not look like an outdoor bench in my opinion, it can work inside just fine. Second, I was able to install this all on my own, and I struggle to assemble things sometimes. I didn’t need any fancy tools, I just followed the directions and slapped some things into place (literally slapped it with my hand to get it into position). Third, our cats love it as a sitting area next to the dining room table, and they can look out the window by the front door. We add a cushion on the seat for them, and open the curtains. I could see dogs enjoying that just the same. Finally, and most importantly: it’s fantastic for storage! I will say, it does not look sturdy enough to hold super heavy items. The plank at the bottom is not solid hard plastic, it is light weight and seemed like it might bend or give away if we put something heavy inside. I keep reusable grocery bags in there along with blankets and pillows and it works great for us. Highly recommend this if you’re tight on storage and have a lot of empty space in a living room area!

I have to give those storage bench 5 stars! I was hesitant to purchase but I’m so glad I did! It was very easy to put together, I was able to do it by myself fairly quickly. It’s been the perfect size to hold our outdoor shoes and other equipment and is very sturdy! It looks nice too, I’ve received several compliments on it!

If you work in the manufacturing industry like I do, you know that there’s plastic and then there’s PLASTIC. The best way to describe it is you can make anything out of plastic, but the plastic can either be soft or firm. Think of the difference between the plastic your child’s toys might be made out of the plastic or synthetic material. You might see on the interior of your car. You noticed the difference you see the difference. This Falls in the middle. Not the most expensive plastic you can get, but it’s also not the cheapest plastic you can get. I thought this product would be more similar to a fake wooden bench. No, it’s a plastic bench. As soon as you sit on it, you can tell when you assemble it you can tell it’s plastic. It’s actually a bit overpriced I think it gets the job done for what it should be 70 gallons of storage in a well hidden fashion. Depending on your needs, it could work. Read the rest of my review below. The assembly process is straightforward there are a few screws. You have to use to assemble the product to usually hold metal bars in place, but for the most part, everything slides and snaps on click click click. It’s a well thought out design, but I urge you to remember this is plastic or synthetic material. I did have one issue during the assembly process when you make plastic like this the manufacturer usually injection molds the plastic so they have to make sure that all the edges are rounded off properly. They have to make sure all the holes that might be necessary for the assembly process or complete. Usually have a de-burning machine or some sort and a wuality check. Well, I got 2 pieces that failed quality check. Easy to fix in one case you literally just had to snap off a tiny bit of plastic on an edge and make room for a screw hole. Nothing major. On the bottom of the bench where you put 12 screws total in8 of my screw holes weren’t there you could see they should be there the outline of where they should be clearly visible, but they were never punched through. No, I’ll be the first to admit. I am no carpenter. I work in Finance in the automotive industry and I used to be an engineer years ago this wasn’t something that was hard to fix, but it was a quality check that was missed. Functionality wise it does what it should do a simple sturdy bench that has storage. I’ll admit some people in my family are a bit on the hefty side. They are afraid to sit on. It can’t say I blame them it’s a hollo Assembly. Anyone who purchased it will notice that from the beginning you can pick it up by yourself if you’re an average strength male, it doesn’t have a lot of heft to it, but it has functionality. The kids in the family Will sit on it, and I will store my barbecue equipment in it.

This storage bench is lovely and looks way more expensive than it is. It was a little difficult to put together as some of the pieces were quite long/tall but the instructions were good. My only issue is that once we got it together and put it on our back deck, a few days after we had another huge wind storm. Since we have not replaced any trees yet for those we lost in the 2021 EF4 tornado, the wind just whips around the back of the house. I kept hearing a thumping noise and finally figured out it was the bench swirling and twirling on our back deck with the wind! It was quite funny and now I know, and would suggest, after putting it out, ensure you put something inside to help get some weight in it so this doesn't happen. No worries - nothing hurt the new house, the deck, or the bench itself. It's very sturdy!

I purchased this bench along with the Keter outdoor storage box. The storage box is built much stronger and better. The storage bench looks pretty good and is adequate for children and smaller adults, but is questionable for holding anyone over 200 lbs. The storage compartment below has a very weak bottom that is good for light weight items or items that stack very flat. Anything with weight concentrated in a small area will break through the bottom, which is held on by quarter inch screws into thin plastic. The storage bench looks pretty good, is inexpensive, and meets the minimum requirements for the description. I am satisfied, but that is all.
