What could be better than straight pins I can hold on too! Too old for those small pins anymore! Not ready to give up crafting and sewing. I can actually see and pick them when I drop them. They are sharp and sturdy, go through several layers easily. Don't fall out because they are longer. All this and they are cute too! They made my life easier, old is not easy! Definetly recommend.

These pins are adorable and love how sharp the needles are. The shapes make it very easy to quickly remove the needle while sewing and are sturdy.

I like the length and the flatness of the pin however, if your fabric is a little stiffer, the head has a tendency to pull off

I’ve always thought that a straight pin was a straight pin, that the top made no difference. Boy, was I wrong! These flat head pins are a game changer for any sewing level! Because the heads are flat you have less fabric shift making the overall project more professional. Why only 4 stars if I like them so much? About 20% of the pins are not sharp. Thankfully they are cheap enough that buying 2 packs and discarding the dull ones still leave enough sharp pins for even large sewing projects.

Pins are cute but not sharp enough to easily pass through fabric. I like that they are flat when placed in fabric but definitely need to be sharper. They work enough for how often I use them but I won’t be buying them again.

I'm a novice quilter and had no idea that there were different qualities of straight pins until I started quilting. But, oh, my goodness! Quality matters! Many of the pins I started out using were too short to comfortably use and too flimsy to keep from bending or even breaking. The other issue I had with several different brands of straight pins that I used before ordering these is that the decorative or bulbous tops came off! But, this pretty straight pins that have arrived are so much better! The tops don't come off! The extra long pins are making their use much more comfortable for my hands and also are able to "grab" more fabric and hold it in place. And, perhaps most important of all, these are much less likely to bend or break. So glad I gambled (because I couldn't find any guidance online about how to determine the quality of straight pins)! These pretty little pins ROCK!!!!

Love these pins. Long and sharp and easy to put in and out. And oops I hit the head. Don't worry the needle doesn't break, because they are soft enough to put a needle through.
