Review: Great Product - This is the second unit that I have installed without any problems. The earlier was purchased by my friend and I help with the installation. In order to extend the cable, you need to buy a sperate UTP cat5 cables (4 core multi stranded cable) and electrical tape, which should be available in any hardware or electric stores. The connecting and installation part is easy. The brightness, contrast, volume and clarity of the unit are excellent. I just need to press the unlock/lock button for control. I think it's an outstanding doorbell that could set your mind at peace.

The video screen has a very clear image but I used my own larger diameter wire because the connecting wire sent with the phone is too short to be useful. The cord to the transformer is also far too short so plan on putting the receiver near an outlet. The product works perfectly and it is the best way to speak to someone at the door.

The system arrived much earlier than expected. It was easy to connect and set-up. I did not intend to use the unlock (door/gate) option. Being in South Africa, I did need to get an adapter for US to SA plugs but otherwise very happy with the purchase.
