Work great. Easy way to connect 8mm LED light strips attached to the bottom of my 4 post car lift.

Good 2pin 8mm solution for single color strips. Be careful picking the strip because it can have the leds so close that you cannot use this connector.. Would like to see more notes on the product page highlighting this issue. I had to remove the 2 top metal cleats to make it work.

I used these connectors for my under cabinet project in the kitchen. I found that these worked much better than the QIJIE connectors. I used these for all my strip connections. I would cut and solder the wires where needed. Attached are pictures of how I used them. Slide the strip under the two plastic tabs, and then under the metal clamps. The only challenge is whether to peel the backing off the adhesive strip, or not. Later, I peeled before inserting, but then it is hard to insert the strip. Hard, but not impossible. Waste a few pieces of strips to get a feel for it.

Getting the strip under the metal tabs was difficult until I realized there are plastic guides at the open end that hold the strip down. That meant the led strip has to be slid in from the end, even though the cap was open. After a few tries, I'd recommend peeling back the adhesive (assuming you are using it), tearing off the end, and reattaching it so that it will slide in instead of sticking. It's also important to note that the connection is not secure until the clip is fastened closed on the strip, so don't worry if the lights keep going out once you put the connector in, they will stay on once finished. Using these on a closet lighting project made it much more manageable. I don't want to think about how hard it would have been to squeeze into the closet and try to solder things together, but with these clips I was able to cut the strip to go around the perimeter of the doorway and wire the corners on the fly. I had more trouble cutting the strips in the cramped space than connecting them.

These work but are very finicky. One should expect to spend more time on their project than anticipated.

So much easier than soldering strips. Only flaw is the contacts are tight and they will ruin the strips if you insert and remove too many times. Overall these were a lifesaver for installing under cabinet LED strips. YOU NEED THESE!!!

These are very cheap connectors and easily gets loose . Will not recommend.

These connectors may be suitable to be used in some circumstances but are extremely unreliable when used with Amazon's "LED Flexible Strip Lights Kit White 12V, Oak Leaf Waterproof 5m 300 LEDs Fairy Light Kit Backlight, 16.4ft/Roll, IP65, Addressable LED Tape Ribbon for Kitchen Cabinet PC Bedroom Xmas Decoration light" I attempted to make two joins using these connectors, one I eventually succeeded but still only made intermittent contact. the other join I could not get to work despite trying several of the connectors, I ended up soldering short leads between the strips of LED's which now work satisfactorily. I am an electronic engineer so have an understanding of principles involved.
