I'm going to add a valve between my pump and tank, so that once I reach my 30 psi of vacuum, I'll hold the internal vacuum and recharge my compressor. Not to remove the pressurized system. My ac system on jeep had a bad pipe. No pressure. I replaced pipe the used this to get a vacuum in ac system prior to recharging. **Q: Does this evacuate the ac system?** A: It pulls a vacuum on the system just before recharge. This is not to collect the Freon. **Q: Does it pull the freon or just to pull the air out?** A: No it does not pull the freon you need to take it and have that done. Reasonably priced solution for our project. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ IT GETS THE JOB DONE *by M***A on March 30, 2020* I have been using this product for about a year and it is absolutely essential for a mobile technician that does this for a living and do not have a electrical power available, it just works, my compressor is regulated to 90-psi and i get 25 - 27 inch pounds of vacuum.
