I absolutely LOVE this product! I bought it because my new rescue dog has giardia and several other intestinal parasites including hookworm. While receiving daily medications to treat these conditions, her poops were still a horrible liquid mess and it seemed very uncomfortable for her to try using the bathroom. After feeding her these carrots according to directions, her poops immediately firmed up and looked healthy and normal! **I just want to be clear that I am not using these as a medical treatment for her parasites- only as a supplement to ensure she has firm poops.** After additional testing from the vet, her parasites unfortunately have yet to clear, but these carrots help ensure her poops are firm in the meantime and I intend to continue feeding her these carrots after her treatment is completed since they offer so many other health benefits and my dog loves them! Aside from working incredibly well, the thing I appreciate most about this product is the convenience. These are VERY convenient to use since the carrots are dehydrated pellets- making the bag light while not taking up very much space, unlike canned pumpkin (which is also so expensive). All you need to do is microwave a mug of some water and add a tablespoon or two and allow it to soak for a couple minutes. I prepare the rest of my dog’s food while I wait and by the time I’m done, the carrots have absorbed all the water and look fresh and mushy! I find this so much easier and less wasteful than opening a can only to use a small amount and storing it in my fridge for the next several days. It is also much, much less expensive than canned pumpkin for the amount you get!

OMG! These have probably saved my dogs life by doing it's job ASAP! Since the day I got him as a pup, my Irish Wolfhound/ Poo mix has had 'chronic runs' with no obvious cause. The poor thing, it broke my heart to see him in obvious pain, struggling every time he went - which was a LOT! Used the excellent brand/ ingredient food the breeder had used to whelp them (she said she never had a problem), yet it was becoming a way of life for my poor boy. The vet was all but useless, except for torturing him with a hump back of IV fluids subcutaneously & all tests coming back negative. I tried switching to every other possible high quality/ ingredients brand (& not overpriced crap like Blue Buffalo or No Grain foods - incl those with cheap protein like peas,potatoes, legumes that are linked to Cardiomyopathy... a condition IWH are predisposed to). Absolutely NOTHING helped, when I found these overpriced on Chewy - then here on Amazon in a 5.5lb bag. Almost instantly, these dehydrated carrots worked like a miracle! Have been using them ever since, but now I can get away with preparing them w a little coconut oil & a small can of pumpkin (an old shower's trick) & refrigerate til the next batch. I find that using hot water re-hydrates them much faster too! I have tried to go a day without them, but that chronic condition comes right back directly after feeding time. ARGH! Though NOW, I have resorted to making a big batch of food in a gal ziploc, where I mix dry kibble (not so easy to find, American Natural Premium) & the carrot/ pumpkin mixture & really knead the heck out of the bag to mix it thru well & then feed it to all 3 of my dogs - at every feeding. No more runs, tummy aches, boo boo's in the house or constantly going like he did before, and it has certainly firmed up the other dogs waste too... much easier to clean up too! All I can say, is that I am incredibly grateful.to have found this product. Wouldn't hurt to find it a little cheaper, or even find Olewo also make it here in the US, but I'm not about to look a gift horse in the mouth... this stuff just WORKS! and it works FAST! --‐-UPDATE----- Still working like a charm (& still mixing it in w a small can of pumpkin for the week's supply/ refrig it in tupperware) BUT just ordered a 2.5LB bag & noticed a huge difference vs the Chewy's 1LB bag & the 5.5LB bag here... Didn't know any better until I saw the 2.5LB bag were actually ORANGE color like the adv pics - the other bags Ive been buying the past yr have been YELLOW! Still worked, but the ORANGE color bag seems to be fresher & when oil/ water added, they're also NOT AS DRY - which is why I added pumpkin initially. Feed ALL 3 of my big dogs this mixed in w their (American Natural Premium) kibble & they love it. They actually wait for me to add their carrots before they will start eating! So weird! Even my cats have been sneaking the dog's food when I'm not looking!

This works great for the times your dog needs a little fiber to firm things up. My dog loves the taste I mix it in with plain white rice.

Where has this product been all of my life, my dogs love this stuff!! I have 3 dogs, one with skin issues, one with a sensitive stomach and one that eats everything in the house (a tissue the kids lift on the couch, the toilet paper roll that someone did not put in the trash can, sticks from outside, etc….) So their stools vary. I was drawn to this product because my dog, with skin issues is lacking vitamin A, so my choices were pills, shots, or naturally from sweet potato’s or carrots. I put the recommended serving amount with 1-2 cups cup of water, the carrots explode in the bowl (from soaking up all the water). Then I mix it in with their dog food. The carrots have helped solidify their poop, my finicky dog with a sensitive stomach loves the soft carrots, and now I’m hoping that we will see better results with Oakley’s skin!!

I have been using this product for years for my 105 lb Kuvasz. He had no diarrhea, but had a reliably soft poop. Very embarrassing and unpleasant to clean up on walks, or even in the backyard. These carrots took care of the problem. I am actually using only a tablespoon with each meal, and it works wonders.

This product is really good if your dog has trouble with going potty regularly. I add this to warm water and make mashed carrots and mix with Kibble and he really enjoys that and his movements are now more predictable. He's been struggling with this since he was a puppy. This is a good product for the use.

We use Olewo carrots in every meal for our 8 year old greyhound. When we got him at 18 months old, he had hook worms. Olewo was recommended to get rid of them and it worked. We continue to use them because he has perfect poop and no stomach issues. We rehydrate them 4 T at a time, good for 4 meals, and keep them in a covered bowl in the refrigerator. He’s not interested in fresh carrots but likes these.

These carrots did the job. No need for medicine or change of food! He's been on them now for two weeks and has had healthy regular bowl movements ever since.

Fantastic product. Actually works!

We have had our greyhound for 3 months and in all that time she has had a sensitive stomach like a lot of greyhounds. I was giving her freshly cooked carrots but she could not digest them, and I have since found out that dogs cannot get the nutrients from veg as they cannot digest them. Well, within a week of our grey eating the Olewo carrots, her coat is beautifully shiny and her bowel movements are much better, no more runs and nice firm stools. It seems that she is getting a lot more nutrients since she has started on Olewo.You only need to give them 1 tablespoon a day soaked in warm water for 10 mins then add to their food. I would highly recommend this product for dogs with sensitive stomachs, if they have diarrohea (spelled wrong I am sure) then they cannot get all the nutrients from any of their food, so this product will ensure better nutrient take up and therefore better health.

Product is great but packaging is bad. I opened it and it spilled everywhere.

We have a Greyhound from Beijing China. She is a meat trade survivor. We have had her three years. We have tested her for everything they can possibly test for because we couldn’t understand why she never had a solid BM .. like, not ever 🥺 she was two years old when we got her and we have never been able to pick up her poop we would just get what we can off the ground. Literally it was like soft serve ice cream or worse 🥴 Within 24 hours of using this product. We noticed a difference, Within a week, a significant difference and now three weeks in and we can finally and happily say she is having consistent solid BM We are thrilled that we can finally pick them up on our walks and especially at our trailer park where we had to carry around a water bottle just so we could wash some of the spots where she went the bathroom before😵‍💫 I would say it works!! (we learned that some dogs just like humans can have irritable bowel And it was something we were gonna have to deal with)
