When the piece is done, display it on the toybox lid with the included clip. This toybox features EverTough Construction with heavy-duty plastic to ensure it will outlast years upon years of use and normal wear and tear. Little ones can decorate their very own toybox by hanging finished masterpieces and posters with the art clip. Plus, it’s an incentive to keep the toys inside neat so that the lid stays closed to display the art! Functional and practical, this 2-in-1 toybox does so much, featuring 4.5 cubic feet of interior storage room and an artboard space for creative minds to draw and color. role playing requires kids to engage in story telling as they make up scenarios, and communicate with others what role they are playing. Any new toy also expands a child’s vocabulary – learning new verbs like “color” and “pick up”, or nouns like “box” and “clip”. Creativity is the ability to think outside the box – and what better way to hone this skill than to hand a child a blank canvas to play with at a station! Crafting new pieces of art and filling in coloring books requires kids to think creatively and with an open mind, string ideas together in new ways and use creative solutions to solve problems. Gripping a crayon, turning a page in a book or putting a toy into the box all require a child’s physical dexterity and coordination. Practicing these motions often is a great way to fine-tune motor skills and hand-eye coordination. When we encourage children to explore arts and crafts, we encourage them to express themselves! Art provides a unique environment where it is safe to experiment and create, where questions are invited and new ideas are celebrated. Regular access to this type of environment helps kids feel more confident and comfortable with their creativity as they grow. Letter & Shape Practice: Take turns showing your child how to write letters and draw shapes. Gradually start sounding out words for them to spell, or shape sequences to draw. Duet Draw: Take turns drawing one line to create a masterpiece! Watch as your creation turns into abstract art or forms a scene. The possibilities are endless as you make memories and a beautiful piece of art together. Don’t forget to display your finished piece with the included clip! Make sharing the clean-up responsibilities fun with your little one. Help your child count each item or name the items as they’re safely put away. Clean-up when playtime is over helps to foster good habits, shows an example of teamwork, and includes a bonus in motor skill development! ## Features - 4.5 cubic feet (0.13 cubic meter) of interior storage space - Lid doubles as an art space - use as a coloring or writing surface or for other fun activities, such as putting together puzzles! - Storage chest features an art clip on the lid to allow little artists to display their masterpiece - Includes two supply containers to keep art materials organized (toys and accessories pictured are not included) - Compact design will fit perfectly in any kid’s playroom or bedroom ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | Asin | B07914MCZZ | | Best Sellers Rank | #57 in Storage Cases & Boxes for Collectibles | | Country Of Origin | USA | | Date First Available | 19 January 2018 | | Is Discontinued By Manufacturer | No | | Item Model Number | 481899 | | Manufacturer | Step2 | | Product Dimensions | 77.47 x 48.26 x 48.26 cm; 0.28 g | ## Product Details - **Brand:** Step2 - **Colour:** Mint - **Material:** Plastic - **Special features:** Lockable - **Style:** Compact ## Images ![STEP2 2-IN-1 TOY BOX & ART LID, MINT - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/614ftXXFSiL.jpg) ![STEP2 2-IN-1 TOY BOX & ART LID, MINT - Image 2](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/61PNHtUAoaL.jpg) ![STEP2 2-IN-1 TOY BOX & ART LID, MINT - Image 3](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/81gNKuz5ZpL.jpg) ![STEP2 2-IN-1 TOY BOX & ART LID, MINT - Image 4](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/915kNeu6aRL.jpg) ![STEP2 2-IN-1 TOY BOX & ART LID, MINT - Image 5](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/81PA08o8lVL.jpg) ## Available Options This product comes in different **Color** options. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Buen producto *by on Reviewed in Mexico 5 May 2020* La tapa no viene agarrada de ningún lado. It fits quite a bit of toys in it & it’s pretty durable. If I could change anything, I would probably want the lid to stay attached somehow, but I do like it a lot. ## Frequently Bought Together - STEP2 2-IN-1 TOY BOX & ART LID, MINT - LeapFrog 100 Animals Book 9.4" wide x height 1.9" depth 80-601540, Green --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.fr/products/279490759-step2-2-in-1-toy-box-and-art-lid-mint](https://www.desertcart.fr/products/279490759-step2-2-in-1-toy-box-and-art-lid-mint) --- *Product available on Desertcart France* *Store origin: FR* *Last updated: 2026-10-25*
